The Celebrant Industry Awards 2021 are designed to recognise those delivering excellence within the Celebrant industry across the whole of the world.

These awards are the first of their kind - the ONLY awards that recognise Celebrants from all four ceremony types across the world. Which means you could be one of the first ever Celebrants to win one of these prestigious awards from around the world.

This is a seriously big deal. There has never been an award ceremony of this nature before, purely dedicated to Celebrants just like you. These are the only awards that you need to be involved in 👏 👏 👏

The rules are simple.

The Global Celebrant Industry Awards are based on nominations, votes and - finally - a judging panel. The panel will dig into your reviews, website, branding and overall business visibility, and add this to how much love you get from your biggest fans ❤️

Stage one of the awards is to get nominated. We’ve created an easy-to-use nomination form on our website for you to direct your audience.

Stage two is all about grabbing those votes - shout far and wide, because only the top five Celebrants from each category will be shortlisted!

Stage three is the judging panel. This is where we bring everything together, and decide on the ultimate winner for each category ⭐

And hey presto… that illustrious title of - ahem - the best of the best could be yours!

I cannot stress enough how big of an impact these awards are going to have. I’m so excited to see the nominations start rolling in!

The awards are for all Celebrants (i.e. those who conduct wedding ceremonies,funerals, naming ceremonies, and renewal of vows) across the world.  Only Celebrants who are members of the Celebrant Directory can win, however those outside of the directory can be nominated and have the option to join the directory in order to be entered into the awards.  

Anyone can nominate with no exclusions.  Whether it be the bride and groom, wedding/ceremony guests, family, friends, or anyone who feels the Celebrant deserves recognition.  

You can also nominate yourself if you feel you have an outstanding script or provided fantastic service.

Anyone can vote with no exclusions.

There is a small fee to enter the awards. When you are nominated you will be emailed a link to accept your nomination. You must be a Celebrant Directory member to take part, so if you aren't a member yet, come dive in and join the fun.

Why do we charge a fee?

Simply to cover the cost of the awards and judges so we can recognise you for your work.

No there is just one fee to enter the awards no matter how many categories you are nominated for.

Our judges are representatives from each area of the industry, they will be announced soon!

Across all countries the following categories will be awarded for each ceremony type:

2. Overall Best National Celebrant 2021 
3. Most Unique Ceremony 2021
4. Best Client Service 2021
5. Rising Star 2021
6. Industry Favourite 2021

All awards will have a runner up award too!

The deadlines below will be followed, where any openings will be from around 10am (GMT), any notifications before around 5pm (GMT), and any closings by 10pm (GMT):

1. Monday 19th April - Nominations Open
2. Sunday 9th May - Nominations Close
3. Tuesday 11th May - All nominees notified and voting instructions sent
4. Monday 17th May - Voting Open - grab as many votes as you can!
5. Friday 21st May - Voting Close
6. Monday 24th May - Top 5 from each category notified and announced
7. Monday 24th May to Sunday 30th May - Judging Panel will review your profile, online reviews and how much love you've received!
8. Monday 31st May - Winners notified and announced

The winners of our 5 categories across the various countries will receive:

1. Recognition on our website and social media platforms
2. Winner’s badge to display on their website and social media platforms
3. Upgraded directory listing containing winner’s badge (for 1 year)
4. Winner’s showcase interview on our Facebook page to put them in the spotlight
5. Exclusive prizes from our judges and partners 

Covid, who? We don't just celebrate the ceremony, we celebrate and award celebrants from all ceremony types. We don't ask for reviews from previous couples, we take a look at what is out there already and ask you to get votes from people who know that you rock at what you do!

This year you can ask all your previous couples and families to vote, no matter when you officiated their ceremony.
