Hi, I'm Faye
My name is Faye Cox and I’m an Independent Civil Celebrant offering bespoke ceremonies covering Bexley, Bromley, Greenwich and the surrounding areas down into Kent and up into London.
What's my ceremony style?
I specialise in smaller more intimate weddings as well as cremations. Whether it’s telling your love story or a loved one’s life story, I always bring a mixture of love and laughter to each ceremony.
Each and every story is unique and it’s always an honour to be asked to conduct a ceremony, so it’s important to me that I bring the very best to each and every one.

I absolutely love finding out what makes people tick, how people met, how they’re different and what’s behind their story. I love to see people’s faces when they read the scripts I’ve written, when I feel the joy and pride of knowing that I have helped people to bring their ceremony to life. I love knowing that someone has been remembered in a way that is truly fitting to them in a room full of people who knew and shared their life with them.
What do I offer?
Weddings
My ideal couple are more introverted and are looking for a celebrant to bring them out of their shell a little, to create a focus on them as a couple, but to also make sure that even more focus is on their friends and family. My couple are looking for a lighthearted, yet deeply emotive ceremony with a completely bespoke script which could possibly include some rituals such as handfasting or use of a Unity candle.
My all time favourite ceremony is a more intimate one with up to 70 guests in attendance.

The initial meeting with you as a couple where we go in to details of what you’re looking for in your ceremony whilst also getting to know each other a bit more.
A fully written bespoke script based on details you give me when we meet.
A fully rehearsed walk through of the ceremony your chosen venue.
Support in finding the perfect music, reading or rituals to include in your ceremony.
The assurance that everything will run smoothly and you’ll have a day to remember for all the right reasons.
A copy of your script sent to you after your big day.

Working with me as your celebrant will bring laughter and a true sense of calm as we navigate the journey together. I will create the perfect personal script for you as a couple and tell your love story with passion, added with a sprinkling of humour and a great deal of emotion.
Unfortunately Faye Cox Celebrant is not available for Naming Ceremonies.
Renewal of Vows
My ideal couple have been married for quite sometime. They’ve been through a lot together and have perhaps experienced a big change in their lives bringing them to a place where they want to renew their vows in honour of the fact that they have remained strong and have grown together as a result of their experience. A couple who want to let the worl know that they mean as much to each other today as they did on their wedding day.
I offer my couple a bespoke ceremony which may incorporate some of the original features of their wedding day, alongside some stories that are yet to be shared with their loved ones.

Funerals
Losing a loved one is one of the hardest times in your life. The void left within your heart is both painful and numbing all at once. It’s a time when you feel lost and confused. Decision making can feel like an uphill struggle, and you wish that you had someone with you to support you with arrangements and take a load off your plate, and that’s where I come in.
I will support you to create a fitting tribute that not only gives your loved one the perfect send off, but that also brings a celebration of their life to the service. With my empathic and compassionate nature, alongside my organisation and writing skills, I will ensure that the service is warm and caring with a touch of humour and light-heartedness.
