Hi, I'm Fiona
Hello there, I’m a spiritual celebrant and environmentally conscious florist who can officiate legal wedding ceremonies and traditional handfastings in Scotland through my affiliation with the Scottish Pagan Federation.
I also have the ability to travel to Europe for handfasting ceremonies, elopements, renewal of vows, and commitment ceremonies.
Forever aiming to make everything about your wedding ceremony complety bespoke to you, as I carefully curate your ceremony script and hand-make your handfasting ribbons or tartan wraps, I even have wee handmade personalised wooden quaichs to offer you.
It’s all about the little touches that will make you day magical, right down to the seasonally selected flower petals that create your sacred circle.
As an experienced florist, I can provide small flowery elopement packages such as a bridal bouquet, buttonhole, and even a lovely flower crown for you to wear on your special day, which can often be handy when you are getting married in a remote beautiful but remote location.
What's my ceremony style?
My style is anything you would dare for it to be.
Yes, of course, I work with some rather lovely couples who prefer a simple ceremony focused around their love, where creating a scared space to share their vows and exchange rings is the most pivotal moment in their ceremony, but I also work with couples who follow a spiritual path.
If you follow a particular Pagan or Interfaith path, it would be the greatest hounour to weave them into a magical ceremony that resonates with your soul.
O, and I particularly love working with couples who wish to fully embrace the elements and elope to the highest of mountains or by the ever-changing coastlines and seas.
Love can be pretty wild and bracing at times and so can the Scottish weather.

My first handfasting beside a Scottish loch, the air had an electrical fizzy feeling all around, and as the sun's golden rays reflected on the water, I could see the moon in perfect alignment with it's celestial partner in the sky.
Knowing that I will be living between Scotland and Spain in the near future, I hopefully will get to meet even more wonderful couples wishing for a spiritual connection on their wedding day.

Our Magical Elopement
We could not imagine the start of our marriage without Fiona. My husband and I went through a trial of events before even arriving to the UK and we weren’t even sure how it would work out. Thanks to our amazing photographers who helped us through it all, paired us with Fiona and we could not have been more thankful. We met her the day of and she radiated magic. She made us feel so welcomed and her beaming energy made us feel like she’s known us forever. She took the time to create such a beautiful ceremony but also went out of her way to include the elements in the cold gathering water from the stream in the freezing cold and that was dedication that we did not expect. We can rave about how sweet, charming, funny, and dedicated she is but it was the passion she brought to us, to our love story, to the land and the work she does is what made it perfect. We came back to our castle (like what!?) and we thought to ourselves how perfect it was in the freezing cold climbing rocks and getting our hands dirty and it would not have been the same without Fiona. She’s the energy that makes such a powerful, life changing moment, into a light, fun, cinematic moment-just like magic. It really felt like a movie and we cannot thank her enough for the role she played.
Funeral Celebration of a Life Well Lived
Fiona was Celebrant and Florist for the uplifting deeply personal Funeral Celebration of a life well lived held for our mother and Fiona’s Granny. Fiona was professional , compassionate and profoundly impactful on the day delivering such a personal eulogy. We will as a family be forever grateful to her. Her granny would have been super proud ! All her favourite flowers and family wrapped around the skilled crafted use of words that Fiona is infamous for , made all of us feel uplifted and proud despite the deepest sadness from our loss. The perfume from the Freesia was so comforting as mum often had these at home.
We will share some pictures if we may of Fiona’s beautiful tribute to our mum and her gran. Thank you Fiona we know that for all occasions you will professional and personally support us however this event was truly a labour of love.
Scottish Pagan Hand Fasting
Finding a celebrant that we trusted enough for our Scottish, pagan hand fasting with added mixed traditions thrown in meant a lot to us. When we spoke and met Fiona for the first time we knew straight away that we wanted her to be our celebrant for our special day and immediately our minds were at ease. Fiona is the most caring and down to earth person you will meet! From the very start during the whole planning process, she made sure to take the time to understand exactly what we wanted and how to bring our love story into the ceremony (which still brings tears to my eyes thinking back to our ceremony), she really took the time to get to know us both!
Fiona is also a lovely florist using locally grown flowers, so of course we chose Fiona to create our final finishing touches which was great that I didn’t need to worry about it at at all. We had a conversation on what flowers we both liked and Fiona created the most beautiful flower bundle I’ve seen and I still remember the beautiful smell to this day. We chose to have our ceremony at sunrise at Dunsapie Loch, Holyrood Park. Arthur’s Seat is a very special location to my husband and I as that’s where he proposed, it was lovely that Fiona agreed to get up in the very early hours to hold our ceremony at a very special place close to our hearts. I remember before our ceremony we met at the bottom of Arthur’s Seat and Fiona handed over the bridal bouquet, flower crown and gents buttonhole. Fiona took the extra time to help with the final touches such as putting on my flower crown and my husbands buttonhole which meant a lot and shows her caring and down to earth nature. We are so glad we chose Fiona, she created such a lovely and personalised sunrise ceremony and helped us make our wedding morning very special.
