Hi, I'm Lynn
Hi – thank you so much considering me to conduct your ceremony.
I live in a beautiful village on the border of Hertfordshire and Essex and cover both counties and North and East London, but hey, have car (or aeroplane if need be!) and will happily travel further afield if required. I live with my husband Garry (our 25 years badge this year, blimey), our two boys (all grown up now) and our dog Lola Bear.
I am fully trained in designing and conducting marriage, family and funeral ceremonies and am a certified member of The Fellowship of Independent Celebrants. I have full Public Liability Insurance.
My career has taken me on an interesting path from the Travel Industry into Children’s Services (with a few stops and diversions in between!) and now I find myself working independently with families to create beautiful and unique ceremonies to mark key events and special occasions.

What's my ceremony style?
I absolutely love meeting families, hearing their stories and helping them plan a ceremony that completely reflects their personalities and wishes. Every ceremony is bespoke, professionally written and delivered by me, to your exact requirements.
For your Wedding you want the freedom to hold your ceremony in your chosen location, at your chosen time, don’t you? Whether you choose a spiritual, traditional, non religious or semi religious ceremony we will work together to ensure that every aspect is a reflection of your love and commitment to each other. The sky really is the limit……
I specialise in working with families to create person centred funeral ceremonies that are meaningful, representative of the deceased life and also meet the needs of their loved ones. I will support you through one of the most difficult days in your life and design a ceremony that fits perfectly.
We all love to welcome a child into our family, such a special time… A naming ceremony is the perfect way to introduce and affirm a child into your family unit, be it through a new birth or maybe an adoption. Let’s plan a party!

Funeral service
I cannot thank Lynn enough for how she conducted the funeral service for my father. We did not have a traditional ceremony, as he was privately cremated, and as a family we wanted to hold a celebration of his life in a venue he had chosen with an afternoon tea to follow, but also to mark his passing in a way which was about him and his family and friends. Lynn offered us a opportunity to tell our stories in a sensitive manner, given we were grieving and supporting our mother; they had been married 60 years. The piece she wrote about dad captured his essence well and was person and family centred. Lynn has a lovely delivery style and her warmth and humanity was something which shone through. As a family we had confidence that we were in safe hands at this emotional time.
Thank you Lynn, as a family we are grateful for everything you have done for us.
I have no hesitation in recommending Lynn, should you need a funeral celebrant, and you will be well supported, looked after and placed very much at the heart of the service she provides.

Best day of our lives!
A huge heartfelt thanks to Lynn for conducting our recent wedding ceremony. We met Lynn several times before our wedding and felt that she really got to know us and our family personally. Lynn manages to be professional, friendly and personal and the words she wrote for us based on our detailed questionnaire were absolutely perfect! All our friends and family thought she had known us for a long time! Lynn totally understood the vibe of our wedding and joined in with the fun of it all.
