Thank you for considering me in helping you say a final farewell to your loved one. I will work closely with you, your family and the Funeral Director to make the occasion both memorable and dignified.
I can tailor the ceremony to suit your requirements offering a celebration of life in a style to suit the occasion.
What's my ceremony style?
A keen writer and poet with a great sense of humour, when the occasion arises, I have the ability to bring a story to life and nothing gives me more satisfaction when I’m told, quiet often by the deceased’s family, I had the eulogy exactly right. By spending time with the family I like to get to know the person and what made them tick. that way I can compose the eulogy in the correct mood. learn about their likes and dislikes, What they enjoyed doing and there’s always a funny story or two worthy of a mention.

Funerals
I’m an Independent Civil Celebrant from Nunthorpe in Teesside. I work with various Funeral Directors across the county to officiate in humanist funerals and a celebration of life.
Whether its a cremation or Burial I will work closely with you, your family and the Funeral Director to make sure we give your loved one a send off they fully deserve.
Once I’m contacted by either a family member or a Funeral Director I will start working to gather as much information about the deceased as possible. I will arrange a meeting with family and friends to discuss the requirements, Music, Readings etc. then proceed to put the service together.
I will then compose the eulogy and send a copy to the family for approval. Once approved I will carry out the service to the families wishes.
I will also present a copy of the eulogy to the family after the service.
