Hi, I’m Nigel, a Multi award Winning Staffordshire and Cheshire Wedding Celebrant, based just outside Newcastle under Lyme, my role takes me all over Staffordshire, Cheshire , North West, Midlands and North Wales, and the UK. As a celebrant creating exclusive ceremonies for your Wedding day, Renewal of Vows, Civil Partnerships plus Ceremony Writing, Naming Days, Adult Funerals and Memorials. I become more than just an officiant; I become a great friend to each couple I meet, I really couldn’t ask for a better job. My dedication to meeting all your expectations with love, unity, and individuality is evident in every aspect of your ceremony. I carefully craft your unique stories, creating the moments that capture your shared journey. When you book a celebrant, you’re not just booking someone to rock up on the day of the wedding and do a quick ceremony. I believe that your ceremony should be, and can be, the best part of your wedding! I am here to give you the guidance you need to create a significant chapter in your life’s story, I am a genuine, happy, caring guy, who has found his niche in life, my reviews from brides and grooms sum me up completely, I am very humbled. While I embarked on this journey as a Celebrant without seeking accolades, I feel a deep sense of gratitude for the recognition received, making this application a significant milestone in my journey. My style and approach as a wedding celebrant are in qualities that define genuine, happy, kind, and hardworking characteristics. I believe that every love story is unique and deserves to be celebrated in a way that reflects the couple’s personalities.

Your first meeting with a celebrant is a non-obligation meeting for you to get a sense of what they’re actually like. It’s no surprise that booking a Wedding celebrant who matches the vision for your wedding day is important, so meeting your celebrant before you book them is the first step. It’s a privilege to have met many loving, amazing, wonderful people, the minute we met, it’s like we had known each other for years. I will advise/guide you, making your ceremony unique and suited only to you and your family, chosen by you, not chosen for you. I know from the moment we meet; we will start to create. Continuous contact and communication is key, Brides and Grooms create their ceremony with my guidance and experience, empathy and building trust in me with them, and all my Wedding couples will say that we became good friends. Drafting their ceremony is a privilege, once drafted it is sent to them to be proof read and returned with any changes, if we get to draft 87, I don’t mind, its their special day. I meet all my couples the week or days before the wedding day, its a nervous and exciting day for them, during the ceremony I whisper each and every section to them, they are then aware what is coming up next

Weddings
Every wedding couple are different, and so it should be, all are unique, all are ideal couples. Having written and performed many wedding ceremonies, personally, the ideal ceremony is what works for you as a couple, its your day. As a celebrant, the ceremony, romantic, chilled, be happy, light-hearted, loving, meet your expectations. An ideal wedding, well, there are so many alternatives to choose from, a beach, your favourite place, classic or traditional, romantic, glamourous, and themed. Its great to have so much choice with a celebrant
Every ceremony is unique and starts by meeting you and getting to know you. This is more of a conversation, asking questions regarding your ceremony requirement / choices.
Put together the first draft of the ceremony in accordance with your wishes. Visit to the venue liaise with the Event/Wedding planner.
Create the Schedule of the day, Unlimited get togethers to agree and modify any part of the ceremony, via email, phone, text and video calls where required. Completion of the finalised ceremony
Visit and walk through at venue, finalising everybody’s part (including all wedding Party) as long as it takes, this is fun time, no pressure. Second and Final get together and practice closer to the big day if required
Creation of a presentation copy of the ceremony on Parchment, Order of Ceremony, your ceremony certificate. Officiate ceremony and be available for photographs if required.

No naming ceremonies are ever alike and why should they be? What Should be Included Within a Naming Ceremony?
Well the answer is whatever you would like to include within a naming ceremony. We will create the perfect naming day that you decide and is exactly what you want. I will create an introduction and welcome your guests, an introduction to your family and baby/child, poems or readings of your choice, I have many at my fingertips for you to look at and decide which is best for you. This can be read by the myself, by your family or a guest.
The Story – Welcoming of your child
Elements of your Choice, Unity Sand, Promises/Commitments, Life Mentors/Grandparents Promises/Commitments, Inclusion of Siblings or Children Present, Naming of the Child, Ceremony Keepsake Certificate, plus many other elements to chose from. The timing for a naming ceremony, however that’s entirely down to you, I’m at your service from the day we meet until after the ceremony. We can meet to start and create the unique ceremony for you and your family, after many meetings together to ensure your happy and we have the best ceremony you could wish for.

I will also meet up with anyone you want to be involved in the ceremony so they are happy with their role, nothing worse than not knowing, its an arm around their shoulder and give them confidence, however during the ceremony I will be instructing and inviting everyone on their role, we can be very flexible.

Every wedding renewals are different, some are even kept a secret Shhh, all are unique, all are ideal couples. Having written and performed many wedding ceremonies, personally, the ideal ceremony is what works for you as a couple, its your day. As a celebrant, the ceremony, should pull at mine and your heartstrings, be happy, light-hearted. An ideal renewal, you can renew your vows anywhere, Its great to have so much choice with a celebrant

A celebration of life, one of the last things we can do for a loved one is give them a personal and fitting goodbye. As your celebrant, I will support and guide you; ensuring that the balance of compassion and happy memories is as you wish for it to be. Working with you to create a clear picture of who your loved one was and what they were all about, their loves and their life.
Grief can overwhelm our ability to think straight. Often planning or even considering the funeral ceremony of somebody we have lost can feel like an impossible task. We need to mourn, yet we also need to remember a life, where that person’s memories, the gifts they gave us can be shared and remembered. We will remember them with respect and love.

Amazing celebrant. Perfect ceremony
Nigel was amazing from the very start of enquiring about a celebrant. He made it very easy for us, we filled out a questionnaire and he did the rest. We had a few zoom meetings to check how the ceremony would look, he gave us lots of beautiful ideas and did a ‘our story’ which our guest loved too. Would definitely recommend Nigel for your wedding celebrant. Thankyou so much
Perfect celebrant
Nigel was perfect throughout, from the moment we met him to the end of our service .
He was friendly and personal , we were at ease with every step, the fact he felt like we had known for ages meant he made the day go so easy and perfect , the service was personal and perfect for our day , we can’t thank Nigel enough for the way he was before the big day and on the day , can’t fault him and thank him enough .
A Beautiful Personalised Ceremony Which Brought Tears to Many
We were really impressed by Nige’s ceremony writing, vow wrangling, and officiating on the day. Honestly, we had a ton of guests coming up to us afterwards who said it was the best ceremony they’ve ever seen. They loved listening to Nige read our story and loved hearing our vows (thanks Nige for helping us with those!). It was also so reassuring when Nige warned us what was coming up throughout the ceremony.
Nige – Thanks for turning the ceremony into something so personal and special it brought tears to many eyes, including our own. It was the perfect day.
