As a true romantic, I have always loved weddings. Part of my job is to listen to your story and retell it during your ceremony in an exciting and engaging way that will entertain your guests and let you relive your journey to this moment. No two ceremonies I write are the same and I guide you through each part of the process and ceremony so that together we create a meaningful and memorable service. As a trained actress, I am able to give a confident yet personable delivery and provide you with a ceremony that will reflect you and your style. With regular contact throughout, you can guarantee your special occasion is in safe hands.
What's my ceremony style?
If it’s your wedding, I am as excited as you, in a baby naming ceremony I’m as proud as punch and at a funeral, I feel your pain. I am a performer and a storyteller. I’m genuine, honest and hardworking. I love helping others and being surrounded by loved ones. The process is fun and collaborative, so I can reflect on you and your story. I class myself as traditional with a modern flair and a little bit of razzle-dazzle. I like the old values but think there are fun and exciting ways to modernise a ceremony that will make your ceremony unique and exciting for you and your guests.
You can rest assured I will deliver a slick, well thought and beautiful ceremony that reflects your style and personality. I’m comfortable in big and small crowds and working with children. I pride myself on delivering a truly bespoke service to all my clients.

What do I offer?
Weddings
I believe the ceremony is the most important part of your wedding day, it’s where you announce your love to all your family and friends, say your vows and make your promises to each other. Do you really want to say the same words as everyone else when they may not reflect your true values or beliefs? I thought not! Your ceremony should be personal, reflect you as a couple and tell your story. Weddings should be fun and full of laughter so your guests can celebrate your journey with you. I am fairly traditional in my values but I create ceremonies with a modern feel to them, giving that balance of love, romance and the personal touch to make the ceremony uniquely yours. Together, we choreograph ways to include different cultures, beliefs, or values into your bespoke ceremony, creating something truly meaningful. Once you confirm you want me as your celebrant, I get to work immediately. We will have an initial meeting, which I like to do face to face, where logistics allow, so we can get to know each other and start choreographing and planning. Here we go through the whole order of service and talk through different ideas, styles, words, etc. I don’t come with a set questionnaire as every ceremony I write is different, I want to get the feel for you and base my questions on our conversations. Once I’ve written the ceremony, I will send it to you and we can edit it where necessary. I offer rehearsals for you and your wedding party if desired or we can have a call closer to the time to discuss logistics. I liaise with your photographer/videographer so they are prepared ahead of time and on the day arrive to deliver your perfect ceremony.

I start writing all my ceremonies with a blank page so no two ceremonies I write are the same as no two couples I work with are the same. I discuss your wishes with you and your visions for the ceremony and choreograph the perfect order of service for your day. We can make the day look totally traditional, completely quirky, or a mixture of the two. It is entirely up to you.
Ultimately, I like to make this process part of your wedding experience and create something that will live long in the mind of you and your guests, which you will cherish forever.
Naming Ceremonies
Welcome your little one to your friends and loved ones with a ceremony created especially for you and your family. As a mum to a toddler myself, I know how precious these little ones are. I offer a bespoke service, creating a meaningful and personal ceremony to celebrate your bundle of joy and pledge your love and promises to them.
Through meetings with you, we will choreograph a ceremony that reflects you and your little one and discuss elements that you may wish to include for example, readings, music, or rituals. I can also talk you through ways we can include any other children you have, creating something meaningful for you to cherish as a family. a family. Once I have written the ceremony, I send it to you to look through and will make any changes necessary until it is perfect. If you need help locating items for the day then I can help you with this also.

As a mum to a lively little boy and having been a primary school teacher, I know how to be with children and like to include elements in the ceremony that will help keep them engaged throughout. I pride myself in my work and I can guarantee a ceremony that you and your guests will never forget.
Renewal of Vows
Congratulations. You want to renew your vows. I want to be you in the future. What role models you are! We can have as much fun with this as you want or keep it completely traditional.
I will work with you from start to finish to create a meaningful, personal, and beautiful ceremony that represents you as a couple. I can help write your vows with you or write them for you. For one couple, I created a picture book of their life together and wrote a poem in rhyming couplets for their 10 year anniversary. They had lots of children there so it was a way to involve them and a lovely keepsake to have after the ceremony.

Funerals
Funerals can be tough and I aim to make the process as easy as it can be. Once confirmed as your celebrant, I will spend some time with you to help your plan the service for your loved one. I can provide advice and guidance on music, readings, and anything else you may wish to include in the ceremony. I can either write the eulogy or help you to write one if needs be. On the day I will be there as a support to help you through this difficult time.

I work with you and the funeral director to create a meaningful and personal ceremony for your loved one. I am able to write the whole service or offer you support. On the day I am able to deliver it all or if family members or friends would like to say something I will be close by in case they need support. I can offer advice on readings, poems, or music and talk you through what happens during a funeral or memorial service.

Great celebrant with an eye for detail
Rebecca was amazing as our celebrant. She took the time to get to know us and learn all about our relationship.
When the day came for our ceremony the speech she prepared had little details from throughout our life together that all the guests could enjoy and they all commented on how engaging and entertaining she was!
Hopefully we don’t have to get married again but we would definitely think of her for any future events that we might need a celebrant for…
Fantastic celebrant for our vow renewal
We were delighted to have Rebecca conduct the ceremony for our 10th wedding anniversary vow renewal. Not only did she do a superb job of performing the ceremony itself, but the care and attention that she gave to the preparation, to learning our story and incorporating personal details into our ceremony was remarkable. She adapted the ceremony in numerous ways to enable our young son to participate and she made it a truly special day. We can’t thank you enough for everything you have done.
