You’re getting married and you know you’d love a laid back, fun and personal ceremony with a sprinkle of emotion. You also know you want your guests to love it and not feel bored!
I’ve got you! As a celebrant who loves a story and hates being bored, I will make sure your ceremony is to the point with a touch of humour and a sprinkling of emotion, while keeping it completely personalised.
Who am I? I am Theresa, a 40-something, trilingual mom of three with lots of random life experiences in my pocket. I love to laugh, I love to hear your life stories and I love a good coffee (plus if there is a packet of crisps nearby, even better! )
I am based in Cumbria, next door to the beautiful Lake District & I travel!

What's my ceremony style?
Feminist – Fun – Memorable – Non-Traditional
I love to laugh, I love to help people feel at ease, like they’re listening to their friend chat over a coffee. I have a relaxed, laid back style, which feels homely and light-hearted.
I love to tell a story which brings connection and community, which brings people together, which takes you and your guests on a journey and includes crying & laughter.
I’ll bring a bit of flair to your ceremony, enough to ensure originality, making sure it’s all about you and your journey so far.
I am keen to do ceremonies which include new traditions; unique to you, let’s discover them together, as you make your ceremony part of your story!

What do I offer?
Weddings
You’re laid back, you love life & family and friends are important to you!
The ceremony with all its emotions and meanings is the most important part of your special day and you want all your guests to feel immersed and included.
You’ll book your ceremony in a repurposed barn or old, historical country house or even a cosy garden wedding or perhaps walking the streets of an historic city.
I offer: a no obligation initial chat to see if we connect & to answer your questions!
Once you book me I offer: Script writing, further meetings & WhatsApp chats, at least two script edits (if required), help with writing your vows, a rehearsal beforehand (if required) and of course conducting the ceremony on your day!
Further services available for an extra cost:

Naming Ceremonies
A new little one has joined the family and you want to celebrate their arrival. A Christening isn’t something you’re keen on, but you still want a special way to celebrate your bundle of joy with your loved ones.

If you are planning your funeral & know that you don’t want the usual traditional type, maybe something more quirky, different to the usual funeral but want your family to be able to say goodbye while also celebrating your life – Let’s chat.
