Hi, I'm Sharon
I am Sharon Stallard, a qualified and independent Celebrant, working in Devon and Cornwall.
I trained with The Fellowship of Independent Celebrants (FOIC) and achieved my accreditation and NOCN qualification, three years ago.
I am a qualified counsellor registered with the BACP and National Counselling Society, with specialist training in bereavement and trauma.
I am originally from Scotland and have served in the Armed Forces.
What's my ceremony style?
My style is empathic, warm and professional. Each service is written uniquely for your loved one.
I have worked as a Funeral Director so understand the process from beginning to end when supporting you to organise a funeral. Being trained as a counsellor ensures I am able to provide emotional support for you and your family during and after if needed.

Funerals
I offer bespoke and heartfelt funeral, celebration of life or memorial services.
I also provide a package for funeral wishes should you wish to pre plan your funeral or celebration of life service.

What I will do for you –
 Support and advise you to make the funeral arrangements that reflect the wishes of your loved one and you as a family.
 I will visit you at your home or at a family address, to meet you and family members who will be involved in planning the funeral service.
 We will sit and talk about the best way to celebrate the life of your loved one. Together we discuss ideas and I provide options that will enable a unique and personal service to be created.
I take great pride in my role as your Celebrant and believe it is such an honour to be with you and your family at such a difficult, painful and important part of your lives.

Compassionate and professional
Sharon is extremely kind, courteous and above all listens and guides you through a difficult time with sensitivity. She is a caring professional who I have no hesitation in recommending to anyone who needs a celebrant.
Made our day even more amazing.
Sharon made our ceremony very personal and managed to represent us perfectly. She put so much love, care, and effort into making our vows a true representation of us both. Sharon’s gentle and calm manner instantly put all our nerves at ease and, she was able to help me feel present and in the moment for the first time in my life, and aware only of the words she spoke and looking into the eyes of my wife. We will forever be grateful to Sharon for all she has done for us. She will always hold a special place in our hearts.
One In A Million
If you require a funeral celebrant then Sharon is 100% the one to go to.
We have had to use Sharon 3 times within the last 18 months, 2 of which were for my mum and dad. This was the first time I have ever had to organise a funeral and until you go through it you don’t realise how difficult it is and while grieving, I had no idea where to begin.
Sharon was just amazing. She gave all of the information we needed, helped us understand the process and provided lots of lovely ideas to ensure mum and dad were given the best send off possible. Everyone who attended praised Sharon and said just how wonderful a service it was and what a lovely person she was.
Sharon supported us from when we first met and through it all. She really did go above and beyond with support, care and the compassion she shows, you couldn’t ask for more.
Sharon did so much for us as a family that we can never thank her enough. I would never use anyone else, she is without a doubt one in a million and truly did get me through the worst times of my life.
