Hi, I'm Leni
If you want a ceremony thats full of warmth, humour, and really tells your story then I’m the girl for you!
I create personal, bespoke ceremonies that really focus on the person or people at the heart of the ceremony. By getting to know you and what makes you tick I can create a ceremony that celebrates you, whether that’s a naming ceremony, wedding, or celebration of life. I also do a line in ‘Birthday roasts’ for those big occasions where you want something a little different!
I’m up for almost anything, if it helps show everyone who you are then bring it on! My second ever ceremony was for Don’t Tell The Bride so I’m used to thinking on my feet and coping in any situation.
I’ve been involved in the wedding industry in one way or another for over 20 years so have a list of preferred suppliers so can recommend the best in the business to work with. I think that it’s not just talent but personality that makes people work well together, so they are all jolly nice people too!
I was a regional finalist in the Wedding Industry Awards 2020, and nominated for Best Celebrant in the Celebrant Awards for 2 years running.
I am the founder of Coffin Club Derby and a Grief Recovery Specialist which enables me to support people when they are grieving and work with families to create the celebration of life that they feel is right for the person they know best.
What's my ceremony style?
I will work with you to create the ceremony you want. Any style and theme is welcome here and I will join in as much or as little as you want me too. I can include religion or keep the ceremony totally secular. It’s your story, let me help you tell it.

Couples who like laughter, warmth and really want to put their own spin on their ceremony are right up my Diagon alley. I love getting into a theme, but am a big believer in love being the greatest story, so work really hard to get to know what makes you tick.
I have two packages on offer, Script only (£300) and Full service. The Full service includes
♥ Initial discovery meeting where I get to know all about you both, discuss symbolic elements and we can eat cake!
♥ Support with readings and poems
♥ A WhatsApp group for you to stay in touch
♥ Zooms as you need them including individual catch-ups for secret vow plotting!
♥ Bespoke script writing including reviews and editing
♥ Conducting the ceremony; exclusivity on your wedding day, including arrival 1 hour before, calming nerves and unlimited waiting because if you can’t be late on your wedding day……..
♥ Personalised reading cards, certificate, vow booklets that all tie in with your invites
♥ A professional hardback ceremony book including photos from your day
♥ An awful lot of fun!

From handfastings, to cocktail ceremonies, from potion classes to sand blending, symbolic elements are chosen to reflect you.
I’m happy to work with animals and children, in fact hearing that doggies are welcomed makes me do my happy dance! I’ll also dress up to tie in with a theme and make sure there are no awkward suits ruining the vibe!
Naming Ceremonies
I love a naming ceremony. The love, the happiness, the hope. They make my heart jump, and I’m a big believer in doing things that make your heart jump!
I have an ridiculous knowledge of readings and poems suitable for the day and I’ll work with you to say exactly what you want to about the guest of honour.We can create symbolic elements together that create traditions, we can include family members, really the sky is the limit!
You can choose to have ‘Godparents’ or Guide parents or what ever special names you wish to use for those adults you want to play a special part in your childs life.

Everything is personalised to you, including candles, so everything matches with your theme and are packaged to create a wonderful keepsake of your day*

Renewal of Vows
A wedding isn’t the end of the journey but rather the beginning of one and taking the opportunity to mark a point on that journey is more than just a good excuse for a party. A renewal of vows is an opportunity to remember why you chose your lobster, and why you want to continue to walk this road with them.
You can reaffirm your rings, or you can buy new ones, you can have bridesmaids or you can walk in together. There are so many options available to you and a renewal of vows shows how you’ve grown as a couple and shares it with those you love.

Outstanding, magical, faultless
Can’t recommend Leni enough. It was the most beautiful, personal ceremony ever. Full to the brim of love AND fun. It was like a little slice of us and captured our dreams perfectly. It was the part of the day i thought I’d hate because I get very anxious being the centre of attention, but leni made it so easy it was actually my favourite bit.
We had so many complements on the ceremony. Friends genuinely thought we were all old friends, they were gobsmacked when they realised we had only spoken to each other once and she’d managed to put the entire thing together with in days. (We had problems with our first celebrant and leni came to the rescue stepping in with just 4 days notice and starting from scratch!)
Many of our friends were in tears over how personal it was or have said they will never look at sand the same way again. One friend loved it so much he turned to his wife half way through and asked if they could renew their vows! Like a fairy godmother you saved the day for us, and got the day off to a truly magical start.

I could not recommend this lovely lady more if I tried. So professional, caring and just a lovely person!
Leni kept in touch whilst we were planning our naming Ceremony, she helped with ideas and planning and just made it so easy.
The day went perfectly and everyone who attended said how lovely it was.

I’m sure you receive so many thank you cards, so please forgive me for adding another one. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for every thing you did to make my mum’s funeral so special. Your support, advice and guidance was appreciated but your kindness is something I’ll never forget. My dad thinks your’e brilliant – thank you for giving him the strength to speak…i know it was not easy for him, but you made it so much better for him. Never stop doing what you do….we all need a Leni at important times in our lives. I hope you know just how important your work is and what an absolute Strength you are.
