We just wanted to say again a huge thank you for your help with mums funeral and for reading our words and sharing all our memories of mum. You did a wonderful job listening to us all with patience, kindness and genuine interest and write an amazing eulogy which befitted mum perfectly.
Everyone afterwards commented on how lovely you were and that the way you talked about mum you would not have known that you had never met her in life.
This is definitely your calling and we are grateful their are people like yourself who do this very important role.
Sonia, Simon, Katie, Jason, Max and Poppy and the rest of Sheila's family and friends. Xx
Thank you so much, Sonia. It means so much to me to know I have helped you all to say a farewell that felt right for you, and right for your lovely Mum x

I just wanted to say, as I didn’t get chance to yesterday, thank you for all of your hard work and wonderful service for N.
If there is such thing as a nice funeral, that was it. You truly captured his personality and spirit and I know that we were all very moved. I also know that he would have appreciated it and laughed at some of the things you added in.
Thank you so much again for your professionalism and the way in which you handled our family at such a difficult time.

I want to thank you once again for the excellent farewell service you gave for mum yesterday. It was everything we could have hoped for and I, personally, am feeling very calm and peaceful today knowing that I have said my goodbye.
From our first meeting you gave both S and I the confidence that mum was in safe hands and you would look after her properly. Your guidance through the form the service could take was very helpful and the time spent listening to us and then checking and altering your eulogy in response to our comments was really appreciated. You made us feel special.
After the service everybody commented on how beautifully you had conducted it and how sincere your words were. You have a very difficult job but I hope you feel fulfilled in the very genuine comfort you gave us, and I am sure many other families. We are very grateful.
Thank you so much for your lovely words. I was so glad to work with you both to help you craft the most fitting farewell for your Mum.

Just a short note to say thank you so much for the very moving and professional service you provided at N's funeral today. Everyone said how much it meant to them and it provided many happy memories for us all to talk over at our gathering afterwards. It’s the first funeral we’ve been to where we all truly felt that we recognised that we were celebrating a life as well as marking a passing.
Thank you for your kind words - it was an honour to speak on all your behalf and to draw together the strands of a remarkable life!

I spent a lot of time finding the right celebrant for my father's funeral and I'm glad I did, because Marie was perfect. She crafted the most beautiful ceremony to celebrate his life, to the extent that people who attended the funeral thought that she must be a friend of the family. On a practical note, Marie came to speak to us at our convenience, called my father's friends to get a more rounded picture of his life and was very tolerant of the many edits and amendments we suggested to her original script. Couldn't recommend her highly enough, thank you so much Marie, you did him proud!

I am grateful to all who have shared their feedback with me - you may see it here: http://www.weaving-memories.co.uk/testimonials/
I am gentle, empathic, flexible and open to a range of spiritual beliefs, and those with none. I am able to hold the ceremony space and support you in carrying out as much of the service as you would like to. I am experienced in more traditional funeral ceremonies, as well as the more informal and inventive. I can provide candles, drapes and other beautiful items to help decorate the ceremony space.
This feedback from an innovative Funeral Director may provide a richer picture:
"Marie has a complete understanding of what we are trying help families to do. When we work with her we know we can trust her to take the time and effort required to create a meaningful and personal ceremony. Her commitment to her work goes beyond it just being a job. She deeply cares about the transformational nature of the funeral service, and the importance of engaging families in the creation of this.
She has a lovely, calming presence and excellent delivery. She brings with her more than just the words of a eulogy and a service. She has brought candles and other items which enhance the ceremony- her attention to detail is superb. She has a wider knowledge and understanding of death and its rituals that she brings with her to every funeral and this helps her to create ceremonies with depth and meaning. We can highly recommend her!” (A Natural Undertaking).
