Hi, I'm Tina
Hi, I’m Tina Floyd and I love people, I love telling stories and I adore performing ceremonies, so these three elements combined are perfect.
I have over 12 years experience in hosting and performing different types of ceremonies, from the very beginning of life, to the final resting place.
I believe that creating a story and celebrating life should be with heartfelt and memorable moments.
I will combine your ideas with my knowledge to create the perfect ceremony which truly reflects you or your loved one.
I am based on the Nottinghamshire/Sheffield border but am willing to travel.

I am a bundle of energy with tons of ideas, years of training to be at the absolute top of my game and I wear fabulous shoes.
I lovingly create totally unique, memorable and meaningful ceremonies with a hint of tradition and a bucket load of fun, that truly reflect you or your loved one.

I get to know you, learn your likes and dislikes, your past, your present and your new future so I can construct the most beautiful and meaningful ceremony that truly reflects you as a couple.
Baby Naming Ceremony:
This is a beautiful service where I craft a delightfully special ceremony to honour your little one and welcome them into the big wide world.
Funeral Service:
Honouring and celebrating the life of a much loved person with a heartfelt story of their life.
For me every day is different and that’s why I love being a Celebrant and celebrating life in all forms.

Performing a Wedding Ceremony for two of our very dear friends
In 2018, I was asked to perform the wedding ceremony for two of our closest and dearest friends.
Despite performing many ceremonies before this, I was totally honoured and so excited to be asked, but also very nervous.
Groups of our friends were present and I don’t think I’ve ever been so scared to perform a ceremony.
Seeing my beautiful friend walk down the aisle to her husband, there wasn’t a dry eye in the gardens, mine included and I adored telling their story.

I’m a massive people person and every day I’m thinking of new ideas and new ways to celebrate your love. I work totally from the heart and each ceremony that I perform is like my first. I get excited in the build-up and building a relationship with you is so important to me, so that I can truly get to know your quirks, your likes and dislikes, your history and craft a ceremony that is uniquely you. I don’t “copy and paste” and I start each ceremony with a blank page. I take time and effort over every ceremony I write so that it reflects you, your loved one, your lives and your stories so far.
What do I offer?
Weddings
There is no “one size fits all” with my ceremonies.
Every couple is unique and every couple is different.
Seeing the love shining between a couple is amazing to watch and listening to their story is a wonderful experience.
Young couples who are starting off their married lives or older couples who have experienced alot throughout their lives and have now found someone to share it with. I firmly believe that Love has no age boundaries and you are never too old for love.
From our initial consultation until after you say “I do”, I will be with you every step of the way. We’ll be best friends by the time your ceremony comes around. I meet up with you, ideally in person, but via zoom if necessary because of location and circumstances. I offer advice and guidance for any readings, vows or symbolic rituals you want to include in the ceremony.
Of course, I write a totally memorable and meaningful ceremony which I send to you approx 4 weeks before the big day and make any amendments you want. On the day, I arrive at the venue early to speak with all the suppliers, check-in with the wedding party and guide guests to their seats. I only commit to only one ceremony per day, so you have my full and undivided attention. About a week after the wedding, I send you a gorgeous box with a copy of your ceremony and your certificate.

Naming Ceremonies
I am fully inclusive and will work with all families to create the perfect ceremony for their new addition.
Naming ceremonies are a wonderful way to celebrate new beginnings for a family. Whether that be the arrival of a new baby, an adoption or a blended family joining together, a naming ceremony can take whatever format you like. There are no rules and together we will make it perfect and I will create a ceremony that is perfect for you as a family.

Renewal of Vows
I absolutely love writing a renewal of vows ceremony, there is so much more story to tell and so many memories to talk about.
Vow renewals are a wonderful way to say “I do again”.
Whether you’ve reached a milestone in your marriage, 1 year or 30 years, this is a wonderful way to remember why you said “I do” the first time.
If you’ve had a difficult time recently and need to re-affirm your love for each other, this is a fantastic way to re-connect or if you simply want to keep the romance alive, a renewal of vows ceremony is the perfect way to do this.
You get exactly the same input, time and effort that goes into a wedding ceremony. We meet, we chat, we talk, we brainstorm and everything that I listen to and learn about you and your lives, goes into my ceremony writing.

Funerals
I am an independent Celebrant with a passion for telling stories of life and love.
As a funeral celebrant, I work directly with the families and we talk in depth about their loved one, who they were, what they enjoyed (and didn’t), how they lived their life and the impact they had on everyone around them.
A funeral service crafted by me celebrates that life and gives thanks for their time on earth.
As a family, if you want some religious content then yes we can include it or if you want no religion at all and some light hearted poetry or someone to sing in the chapel, then yes we can do that aswell.
My services are unique, they are individual and they fit the person perfectly.
I have different options available depending on the families wishes and we can discuss this in the comfort of your own home when I come to visit you.
