Hi, I'm Nicole
I am a Scottish celebrant based in the North West of England and I love to celebrate! I specialise in beautiful namings and wonderfully inclusive weddings and vow renewals. I have been a celebrant for several years and I still get excited about meeting a new couple or family and learning about their story.
Bring your big ideas, your tiny details and some of the family pets along and we will create the most wonderful memories.
What's my ceremony style?
Your ceremony should be the most memorable part of your day. So often, people recollect the cake, or the outfits or the dance moves Uncle Mike was busting out. I want to help you create a ceremony which feels like you and has you and your guests laughing, smiling and crying in all the right places.
I love bringing my humour and warmth to your script. And I am also a bit of an expert at ad-libbing when a baby starts crying or Aunty Jean’s phone starts ringing. Whether you know exactly how you want your ceremony to be or you are unsure and looking for someone to spark your creativity, I would love to help you design your ideal celebration.

Weddings
I love to work with couples who want their ceremony to unapologetically represent who they are. Thinking back on the weddings I have been involved in, I cannot choose a favourite. One week I am in a castle, dressed in black conducting a gothic rock ceremony by candle light. The next week I am holding the leash of Barney the greyhound as his mums walk down their garden hand in hand.
All of the ceremonies are different and each one is fantabulous!

Meetng a new couple is like getting to meet the main characters in an incredible book. I get to hear the incredible chapters of your story which lead you to your wedding day. Then I have the great privelidge of capturing the highlights of these for your ceremony and considering what the next pages of your story together will look like.

Naming Ceremonies
A naming ceremony can be almost anything you want it to be. They are not solely reserved for babies (although most of them involve tiny humans) but can be crafted into the personal celebration that you want it to be.
A naming ceremony is a beautiful way to welcome a baby or new family member through adoption or the blending of families. Trans or non-binary people can have a ceremony to celebrate their identity and the name they wish to be known by. Your name is so important to who you are. Such a significant step in your journey deserves to be as unique and individual as you would like.

Your name is a vital piece of your identity and I want to capture the significance of that. A name is always chosen after a journey and telling people all about that is wonderful. Family, in all the forms that it can take, is at the heart of a naming ceremony and I love thinking of ways to involve them in whatever way you would like. I love the subtle chaos a room with young children or animals can bring and am always ready to pull silly faces and go with the flow to make the ceremony feel relaxed.
