Hi, I’m Hannah (she / her) and i’m an independent celebrant based in SE London.
✨My focus is on celebration – whether that be tieing the knot, welcoming in a new member of the family, or remembering the life of a loved one.
✨My approach is, and always will be, laid back and relaxed, and a focus on the non-traditional.
✨I’m here to help you in your journey, whatever that may be, and in whatever way honours you or your loved one.
What's my ceremony style?
I am a Stage Manager by trade and have been very lucky to work in the West End for most of my career, but as time ticked by and one show turned into another (into another…) I realised something was missing in my life.
After losing my mum (Cherry) to cancer in 2017 I decided it was time for a change, and said goodbye to theatre for good…or so I thought. I ended up teaching at one of the UK’s top drama schools and it was there I discovered an penchant for public speaking.
This, alongside my never ending desire to try to make the world even the tiniest bit better, led me to pursue my training as a celebrant.
I am non-traditional, a bit rowdy, a bit sweary, love a juicy IPA and some classic emo-rock/punk-pop. If this sounds like a little bit of you, then let’s get together!

Aim high. That was our goal for our wedding, and choosing Hannah was the right choice:From explaining me the jew how to do wedding ceremony differently, to guiding us step by step on the process and have fun and laughs along the way to the ceremony that brought joy and happiness to us and to our loved ones on the event. Hannah is our new BFF. Thanks for taking part of our special day.

Hannah made our daughter’s wedding celebration very personalized and special. The family met with her at a pub the day before, and she spoke several times with our daughter and her fiancé before that, so by the time of the celebration she could really speak from the heart about their relationship. We would recommend her to lead any important celebration!

I seriously cannot express how integral Hannah was to the success of our wedding ceremony! Initially, I was hesitant to have a stranger as our celebrant – it sounded impersonal and I was worried we’d end up with someone who didn’t “get” us at all. Hannah went above and beyond to make sure the ceremony felt true to my husband and I and really took the time to get to know us both on a personal level, even working around an 8 hour time difference for Zoom calls. I feel really lucky to have found her and so grateful for all the care she put into making our wedding day special.
