Hi! I’m Victoria (or Vic) and I am the professionally qualified Independent Celebrant behind Days to Remember and my mission? To create ceremonies that pop!
Too often the ceremony is deemed the predecessor to the main event. It’s dull, routine and overly familiar, dictated by rules and regulation. Are you looking for something different? I might just be your gal….
Together, we can put your ceremony back centre stage. After all, it’s the reason you have all come together, to celebrate an important milestone in your life and it should be marked in a way that is true to you; who you are and what you believe in!

What's my ceremony style?
Outdoor ceremonies, festival weddings and ceremonies in places full of historic character totally make me tick!
I also love to modernise ritual and bring it up to date for the 21st century couple or family. The blending of old and new has long been a fascination of mine and the inclusion of ritual is something that I believe adds another layer of symbolic meaning to a ceremony. It can be light, it can be joyful and it can add a deeper, more meaningful element to your day.
But above all? I’m all about fun! I want your guests and yourselves to have a laugh, to feel good and to resonate with your story. I want to help you create a day to remember with a party fuelled ceremony that pops!

Firstly, I’ll listen to your story and use this as the foundation to lovingly craft a totally bespoke ceremony that speaks true to you. Then, I’ll be there every step of the way as we realise your perfect day with no restrictions. Whatever you want, goes! That means if you wish to have your fur baby as ring bearer? That’s a MASSIVE yes from me! If you want to engage in some form of interpretive dance? Then sure, i’m all for it! Let’s ditch that rulebook and create something truly memorable!

It means you are likely to be looking for a ceremony full to the brim with deeper meaning and personality that truly reflects and celebrates you, your partner and your story. A-MAZING! By taking this leap you are in for a treat. What lies ahead is a gorgeous process of collaboration to create a ceremony that speaks from the heart, is truly memorable and that absolutely pops! Let’s put your ceremony back at the heart of your day and create a day to remember!
I offer an initial no obligation meeting or video call free of charge so you can get to know me, we can discuss your ideas for your ceremony and you can see if I am the celebrant for you!
The wedding package includes:
• At least 2 meetings to discuss and plan your ceremony in detail
• Creation of your ceremony script and redrafts where required
• Unlimited contact to discuss your ceremony and offer advice in the run up to the big day
• Ceremony rehearsal – ideally at the venue
• Delivery of your ceremony
• Keepsake copy of your ceremony script
Your special day will be reserved exclusively for you and no other bookings will be taken. This ensures that I can focus on making sure everything is in place prior to the ceremony and can be on hand nice and early to settle any nerves and sort anything necessary on the day. All you’ll need to do is relax and enjoy!

So how do I work? I want to know how you met, how you initially felt about one another and what hopes and plans you have for the future. But I don’t just want to know the good bits. I want to know your annoying habits and what really gets the other’s goat. I want to know the challenges you’ve faced together and understand what you both value in the bond that sticks you together against the world. From here, I can create and deliver a ceremony that truly reflects both of your personalities and the values at the heart of your relationship!
Naming Ceremonies
A naming or adoption ceremony is a beautiful way for loved ones to come together and celebrate the arrival of a new child into a family. Whether they have just arrived into the world or whether they are a little older, whether you choose to have an intimate gathering at your home or a larger celebration at another venue, a naming ceremony offers the opportunity to share your hopes and aspirations for your little one as you welcome them into your family.
The world is your oyster in terms of the ceremony. I will get to know you, the parents, and hope to meet your child(ren) so that I can produce a ceremony that reflects you as a family. I can also guide you on readings, poems and unity rituals that you may wish to include as well as discuss your chosen guardians and how we can best incorporate them and their promises into the ceremony.

Why choose Victoria for your naming ceremony?
I am a true believer that life’s important milestones should be marked with ceremonies that are as deeply connected to those involved as the milestone marked. They are super personal and emotional moments that should be reflective of your personalities, your future aspirations and, most importantly, your story.
With me as your celebrant, I will uncover who you are as a family and weave this knowledge into a bespoke ceremony written just for you. We can then include as many additions to the script as you like such as a tree planting or sand ceremony to unite the family together with all your hopes and aspirations for the future.

It was a show stopper!
Having Vic as your celebrant is genuinely like having a friend marry you but with her knowing exactly what she is doing!
From the moment we met, we knew there was nobody else who could complete our ceremony and we have absolutely no regrets.
Throughout this process, we have laughed together (A LOT), cried, and shared stories of the past that have made us laugh and cry all over again. We have been so grateful for her guidance, her naturally creative side and sense of all things fun and really feel we have made a friend.
Our friends were so in awe of how personal and specific the ceremony was, Vic having worked so hard to incorporate so much for us. It was a show stopper.

Vic is an incredibly special person. From the very beginning and throughout the entire process vic puts her genuine nature and warm and gorgeous personality into the ceremony build up, getting to know you as a couple, the story and details she extrapolates for your ceremony story, and the day! She’s got a real gift with this. It was a joy to work with Vic. She makes it a super personable experience and our ceremony was one of the most special parts of our wedding day. Friends and family all raved about it and Vic. I wish we could do it all over again!
