There is nothing more important than sharing your story in a way that truly reflects you, and my job is to help you to be creative and brave, thinking of the endless possibilities that mean you get exactly what you’ve always wanted.
From the first time we chat, it’s all about you. I’ll drive you mad with delving deep into your stories, your loves, what’s important to you, and we’ll work closely together so you feel supported in the process, and confident to stand up on the day, taking pride in the bold declaration of your love and community.
I’m based in York, but work nationwide, travelling far and wide for love.

I live for the wild romantics; the couples who want to explore the incredible creative possibilities that exist just for them. It’s a joy to help bring these ideas to life, and to work collaboratively throughout the whole process, making sure we’re delving deep and creating something that reflects you perfectly.
With me as your celebrant, you’re not limited on location, content or timing, so let your imagination run wild – marry on a clifftop, elope to the moors, transform that warehouse into a wonderland, and bask in the joy of being authentically and boldly yourselves.
With all ceremonies, we’ll start off with a no-obligation video chat, getting to know each other, and making sure we have the chemistry you’re looking for. If you feel like I’m the celebrant of your dreams (fingers crossed!) the fun can start!
To kick off, I’ll send you a mini date night – cocktails and candles – and some all-important questions to work through together; talking points and an in-depth questionnaire to help me get to know you and your story. Once you’ve sent that back to me, we’ll meet up over a bevvy and go through all the juicy details for the day. All of this helps me put together your first draft script, which I’ll send to you for notes, revisions, feedback, and we can make changes and meet up as much as you like until we’ve created the ceremony of your dreams!

What could be better than taking time to carve out a moment to mark a unique and precious milestone? A naming or adoption ceremony does just this, and it’s a beautiful alternative to a christening, allowing you to surround your little one with the love of your community.
All family dynamics are worthy of celebration, and the coming together of a family is a wonderful thing. A celebrant-led naming ceremony lets you creatively welcome a little – or not-so-little – one, as you define the future for your family together. For £325 you will receive a beautiful and personalised naming or adoption ceremony, tailored completely to your family and your story.
We’ll spend some time getting to know each other, with questions for you to work through as a family, and then a face-to-face meeting where we can work out all the details. I’ll be on hand for whatever you need through the whole writing process, and when you’re completely happy with the finished script we can meet for a rehearsal (if you’d like one!) and you’ll get a beautiful presentation script to keep forever.

Whether you’ve been married for one or 40 years, embrace the moment to reaffirm your commitment, sharing new promises and new possibilities.

For £625 you receive my full ceremony package, and it’s such a treat to get to know my beautiful couples.
If you think I’m the right ceremony for you (and I hope you do!), we’ll get planning – starting with a face-to-face meeting, working out all the juicy details before I start writing your unique ceremony script. Whatever support you need throughout the process, I’m here for you – we can discuss creative and symbolic elements, family and friend involvement, music, readings, even location!
Because one size never fits all, I also offer ceremony script writing, extra rehearsals and any other support that might be needed, starting at £25 per half hour.

Unique, warm and caring
We spoke with 7 other celebrants before meeting with Eleanor and we knew right away she would be perfect for us. Eleanor is very reassuring and is calmly confident, which is just what we needed. Eleanor was fantastic at suggesting moving readings and unique rituals we could include in our ceremony. She was also very prompt at responding to our incessant emails which we greatly appreciated. Eleanor even came to meet up with us in person, in London hours from where she is based. We felt reassured and cared for every step of the way and this meeting removed any doubts that we may have had. On numerous occasions, Eleanor helped us with our vow writing in a way that was supportive and encouraging. Our ceremony itself was the most special hour of our lives and a lot of that was down to Eleanor. Her grasp on our story, through the short time of knowing us was exceptional. We felt truly heard on the day, through our various questionnaires, leading up to our wedding day, she captured our story, our feelings and had the entire audience in tears. She told our story beautifully and is a true wordsmith who captivated the whole room. After our wedding, Eleanor had put together a beautiful bag of joy for us full of mementos from our day, which was a really lovely touch. We couldn’t recommend Eleanor enough, she is a unique, warm and caring celebrant who will help make your special day even more amazing! We can’t thank her enough for everything she did for us!

Eleanor was the celebrant for our wedding. She was supportive, warm, caring and amazingly enthusiastic at every stage of the process. Many things about organising our non-traditional wedding were stressful and many suppliers didn’t take the time or interest in understanding our vision. However, Eleanor was the opposite of this, calm, reassuring and took all the time needed to capture what we need as a couple. Making sure the ceremony was our story, reflected our personalities and celebrated what marriage made to us – in our case including hand fasting and a sand ceremony. Eleanor goes above and beyond her role at just about every turn, even when we had challenges from our venue and other suppliers. Our ceremony couldn’t have been any better.
