Scottish Pagan Hand Fasting
Finding a celebrant that we trusted enough for our Scottish, pagan hand fasting with added mixed traditions thrown in meant a lot to us. When we spoke and met Fiona for the first time we knew straight away that we wanted her to be our celebrant for our special day and immediately our minds were at ease. Fiona is the most caring and down to earth person you will meet! From the very start during the whole planning process, she made sure to take the time to understand exactly what we wanted and how to bring our love story into the ceremony (which still brings tears to my eyes thinking back to our ceremony), she really took the time to get to know us both!
Fiona is also a lovely florist using locally grown flowers, so of course we chose Fiona to create our final finishing touches which was great that I didn’t need to worry about it at at all. We had a conversation on what flowers we both liked and Fiona created the most beautiful flower bundle I’ve seen and I still remember the beautiful smell to this day. We chose to have our ceremony at sunrise at Dunsapie Loch, Holyrood Park. Arthur’s Seat is a very special location to my husband and I as that’s where he proposed, it was lovely that Fiona agreed to get up in the very early hours to hold our ceremony at a very special place close to our hearts. I remember before our ceremony we met at the bottom of Arthur’s Seat and Fiona handed over the bridal bouquet, flower crown and gents buttonhole. Fiona took the extra time to help with the final touches such as putting on my flower crown and my husbands buttonhole which meant a lot and shows her caring and down to earth nature. We are so glad we chose Fiona, she created such a lovely and personalised sunrise ceremony and helped us make our wedding morning very special.

Spiritual wee elopement in Edinburgh
We had a small personal wedding this July in Edinburgh and we trusted Fiona with our ceremony as well as the floristry and we are more than happy that we did! Fiona is the most spiritual, amazing and cute person we ever met. From our first meeting and through the whole planning process Fiona guided and helped us in a very caring and understanding way. She made sure to know exactly what we wanted and what we had in mind as well as to get to know us and our love story in order to create a very personal and spiritual ceremony which reflected not only our love story but our whole personalities! She cared deeply about us and our ceremony and we felt well taken care of.
The same is true for the flowers. Fiona did an amazing job creating flowers that reprented exactly what we had in mind and she even included little things so the bouquet also represented our love story! We were and still are in love with the flower arrangements – the bouquet, flower crown and buttonhole looked amazing together and were just perfect for us, also the fact that she used local flowers and plants was just great! Fiona also immediately understood what we wanted when we first talked about flowers and without discussing much she already knew exactly what we had in mind!
On our wedding day and during the whole ceremony we could really feel just how magical and spiritual Fiona is and she just managed to give us the most amazing and magical ceremony possible!
