Hi, I'm Marian
I am an Interfaith Minister, Registered Solemniser of Marriages and a Civil Celebrant.
I believe that people should be able to choose how they celebrate life’s milestones. I deliver ceremonies with warmth and sincerity, in accordance with a couple’s values and wishes, ensuring that clients enjoy the wedding day of their dreams.
I love to bring my energy and humour to the occasion, working with a couple to create a ceremony that reflects their love and commitment that the guests enjoy too! My aim is to bring a fresh approach to all ceremonies and offer many diverse ways to celebrate these very special occasions.
What's my ceremony style?
As a celebrant, I love creating deeply personal and inclusive ceremonies that celebrate not just the couple, but their whole family. I believe weddings are about more than two people—it’s about the blending of lives, so I make it a priority to involve children and family members in meaningful ways.
For couples with children, I often include a family unity ceremony, where everyone lights candles or pours sand into a single vessel, symbolising the creation of a new family unit. This makes the children feel truly part of the moment. I’ve also had siblings read poems or share personal messages, bringing warmth and connection to the ceremony.
Grandparents and other close family members might offer blessings, present symbolic gifts, or even participate in rituals like handfasting. These touches create a ceremony that feels unique to each family, weaving their bonds into the fabric of the couple’s special day.

New life is a joyous occasion and a reason for family and friends to get together and welcome someone new into the family. A celebrant-led baby naming ceremony gives you the opportunity to create a ceremony that is a joy-filled welcome to the world for your new baby. You can include readings, prayers, poetry or music of your choosing and will also give you the option to include significant people in the baby’s life such as siblings and grandparents in the ceremony. An individually designed commitment ceremony bonds your baby with their guide parents/mentors for life. I love working with any and all families to create a tailored, memorable naming ceremony.
