Hi, I'm Mary
I am a Legal Celebrant & Registered Solemniser. I am an award winning Best National 2021 Celebrant as voted by The Celebrant Directory. I am also Celebrant of the Year 2023 as voted by the Brides of Munster. My own ethos here at Marry Me Weddings.ie is ‘Your Day Your Way’. Your wishes for your ceremony are paramount to me and I will do my best to facilitate them all. I am a hopeless romantic and love nothing more than to work with a couple to create an intimate, personal and bespoke ceremony that reflects who they are as a couple. Each of my ceremonies are unique because of this.
What's my ceremony style?
My type of ceremony empowers a couple to have whatever type of ceremony they want. I have no limits and no restrictions whatsoever on what can be said or done at my ceremonies. It’s all about you as a couple. You are unique and I always endeavour to deliver a ceremony that reflects a couple’s love and uniqueness and help create the perfect atmosphere for a wonderful day which you will remember for the rest of your lives. There’s nothing like delivering a light, relaxed and love-filled ceremony, which you and your guests will love and remember it long after the day has passed.

I must be honest with you and admit I’m a hopeless romantic and I absolutely LOVE my job as a Celebrant. It’s just such an honour and a privilege to be in the presence of pure love and joy. I am extremely passionate about what I do and I just love creating the perfect ceremony for my lovely couples. Each ceremony I perform is as unique as each couple are so it truly reflects who they are as a couple.

Naming Ceremonies
The naming ceremony is all about introducing a new person to the world, honouring their existence, giving them their name, making wishes for their life, making promises to care for them and to help them to grow into their true selves, electing a sponsor or mentor to look out for their welfare and creating a happy memory involving the child for everyone to cherish.
Rose Petal Ceremony– This is where each person takes a petal, makes a wish or blessing or good intention for the baby and then places it in a water bowl. The water in this bowl now carries the essence of these rose petals and it is also imbibed with all the positive thoughts and heartfelt messages. The baby’s head and heart is now anointed with the Rose Petal water. In this act we are bestowing upon the baby symbolically all of the good will and tributes and we welcome the baby to the family and community.

From Aoife Moloney : We are really and truly blown away by how special Mary made our son Oisín’s naming ceremony. Between making suggestions about poetry and ceremony enhancements to include, and listening to our every whimsical idea, Mary created a beautiful and truly personal ceremony that could not have been more perfect. Everyone who attended was blown away, with many people not really being sure what to expect from a naming ceremony. The whole day felt so natural and relaxed, and all of our guests felt included by the flower petal ceremony suggested by Mary.
Renewal of Vows
Many people believe that entering into marriage is the final step in a romantic relationship. As they see it, a couple meets, gets to know each other, falls in love, decides they want to go through life together, and then take the final step – marriage.
But marriage is not meant to be the final step in couple’s relationship – it is really just the beginning of a grand adventure that hopefully, will be long and fruitful for each couple.
Simply put, a vow renewal is a way to celebrate your marriage. Perhaps you’ve made it to 2, 5, 10, 25 or 50 years together and you want the world to know you’d do it all over again in a heartbeat.You’ll exchange vows, recalling what you said when you were first married. You could also vary the wording and write original vows. This is an opportunity for both of you to really think about how you feel about your relationship, especially if the last time you exchanged vows was decades ago.

Our truly wonderful wedding ceremony
Words cannot begin to express how amazing Mary is. We asked Mary to be a part of our special day after being recommended through a friend and it was one of the best decisions we ever made. From the moment we met Mary, we loved her. She’s genuine, warm, funny and you can tell she has a real love for what she does. Mary really made the effort to get to know us and our story. Everyone on the day commented on how personal the ceremony was to us. We’d guests who had never attended a wedding that wasn’t in a church and they all said how surprised they were at how beautiful, intimate and unique the ceremony was. Mary really made our day that extra bit special. If anyone is looking for a Celebrant who will only add their day, Mary is the woman for the job ❤️
Our very personal ceremony
We got married on the 30th of November in the Dunraven Arms hotel, Adare, Co. Limerick. Mary was an absolute pleasure to deal with from start to finish, our guests are still complimenting her and our ceremony. Our ceremony was so much more than we expected. Our ceremony was very personal to us which Mary incorporated through telling our love story and 3 things which we admire about each other, our guests really enjoyed these parts. Mary is truly amazing at what she does, she really does bring all the energy you need for your ceremony; so caring and creates a calm environment. Thanks again for everything you did for us Mary, you were an absolute dream to work with.

Our amazing ceremony
Mary, we couldn’t thank you enough for creating a ceremony that was so special to us. We absolutely love that you included a section that was a surprise to each of us and cannot think of a single thing we would change. Our ceremony was so beautiful and personal and we are so grateful to have found you as our celebrant.
