Hi, I'm Roger

Over ten years experience in offering Celebrant Services means that I am ideally placed to help you create the wedding ceremony that relflects your personalities and style.

Once you have the ‘legal’ bit out of the way, you can separate the “legal” from the “ceremonial” and are free to hold a truly personal, emotion and memory filled Wedding Ceremony that allows you to relax, and be fully involved in your ceremony. I help couples write their ceremonies, their way. Together we create a ceremony which can be traditional or modern and as there are no restrictions on time, place and content, we can include family members and even guests in the ceremony if they want. One popular way for instance to is include them is in a “ring blessing ceremony” before the couple complete their vows and exchange rings. What’s a ring blessing ceremony I hear you ask?

Well, a wedding ring blessing ceremony is basically when your wedding rings are “warmed” by each of your guests at the beginning of your wedding ceremony. Each guest will be asked to hold your rings for a moment and make a silent wish for you, your marriage and the years that are to follow this special day. Music can be played while the rings are being passed around to create ambience.

Then, after the rings have been passed to each member of the congregation they will be returned to the couple or the best man for use when saying the vows.

The whole idea of a “Ring Blessing Ceremony” is that your wedding rings have been “warmed” forever by the well wishes, positive vibes and loving energies of each guest. This is an extremely personal and memorable way to get your guests involved in not only your wedding reception but in the ceremony itself.

What's my ceremony style?

My Ideal couple will be looking for some personalisation and uniqueness for their ceremony. It is very important to me that your personalities shine through your ceremony and that there are ‘spotlight’ moments scattered in and around your ceremony that your family and friends will come T on and remember for years to come.

If that sounds like you? Then please get in touch!

Funerals

We are all unique and I believe that there should be no restrictions when it come to say our Final Farewell.
The Celebration of Life Ceremony should reflect the wishes of the deceased and the bereaved and not the beliefs or ideology of the person conducting the service.

Therefore, I offer a ‘ no rules’ approach which means that while the ceremony will always be dignified and respectful it should always reflect the character of the deceased and their approach to life.

Roger was there in the tough times for our family, it seemed only fitting to have him in the best times as well. Words cannot sum up our love for Roger. He offered us the love, kindness and time we needed both on the day and the lead up to it. It was important to have Roger as a big part of our day, and that he was! He was most notably our Wedding Celebrant but also our awesome DJ. Everyone remembers him and his energy throughout the day. We truly hope you continue doing what you do and making others feel so loved. To Roger!
