Hi, I’m Jane and the proud owner of Willow Bespoke Ceremonies. A true Welsh girl, born and bred in North Wales. My passion is creating a truly beautiful, memorable ceremony that will remain in your heart throughout your life’s journey. I’m a people person with thirty years experience of supporting couples throughout their milestone events whether sad when goodbyes must be said to loved ones or joyous times like weddings, vow renewals or naming ceremonies. What's my ceremony style?
I’m a listener and I will create your ceremony, your way. We’ll have fun planning your big day making the journey towards the happiest of days memorable. Have you thought about incorporating a wedding ritual in your vows? We can chat about all the options that are open to you like Hand Fasting Ceremony, an ancient Celtic tradition known then as “tying the knot” where Couples acknowledged their betrothal by having their hands tied together by an officiant with ribbons or cord to symbolise their commitment to each other. Maybe a Unity Sand ritual involving a blending of different coloured sands into a single vessel. The meaning is the blending of two different beings into a single inseparable unit and the joining of their lives. Or maybe your dream is to have a more traditional style of ceremony. I am versatile and will ensure your day is made with love.

What do I offer?
Weddings
Every couple is special and unique, and I will make your day memorable, filled with love. I love a couple who think outside of the box and by incorporating a ritual into your vows we can create a truly special ceremony. Hand Fasting is one way of creating a unique ceremony. You can involve family where each person places a coloured ribbon over the couple’s hands each ribbon representing a different meaning. Blue meaning trust and loyalty. Brown meaning outdoors. Colours to match the type of couple you are. A truly personalised ceremony. How about a Unity Sand Ceremony This ritual involves a symbolic blending of different coloured sands into a single vessel. You don’t have to be on the beach, you can incorporate this at the venue of your choice. It’s very popular with couples who both have children as this symbolic ritual unites the whole family as one.
Firstly, we’ll meet face to face or digitally where I can get to know you and we’ll stay in touch right throughout your preparations. We’ll chat about where your venue is going to be, what’s your theme, your chosen colour schemes. We can talk about your family and friends, who are the most important people in your lives. I can suggest themes, ideas, readings, poems. We can talk about whether you would like a more traditional ceremony or a more unique, bespoke ceremony. I am happy to be your Celebrant and conduct your ceremony wherever you would like your wedding to be. Indoors at a gorgeous hotel, outside maybe in a beautiful garden, on the beach if you are a real outdoors person, or even up a mountain. Planning your big day takes time and a lot of effort and in your busy lives sometimes this can be challenging. I will be there for you whenever you need to talk. Perhaps you need a listening ear who will be honest with you and offer you advice. An idea might pop in your head that you really need to chat about. You can contact me whenever you like there are no time restraints.
Naming Ceremonies
A baby naming ceremony is a great way of welcoming and celebrating the new addition to your family. You can do pretty much anything you want, maybe have the ceremony at a venue of your choice, or outdoors, or even your home. It’s a beautiful way of involving your family and friends by bringing them together and affirming the role the key people in your life will play in the life of your child. These key people are usually known as guide parents the same as godparents in a religious ceremony. We will meet to chat about what your ideas are, then I will build the ceremony for you, crafted with beautiful words. We can meet or chat as many times as you like prior to the big day and on the day you will be presented with a certificate and the ceremony script for you to keep and treasure.
As part of your package I can include readings which can make your naming ceremony more meaningful and heartfelt. For baby naming ceremonies I can suggest readings that reflect your family’s values and beliefs and help you choose the right readings to create a beautiful and emotional ceremony. I can help find the right venue to match your style and preferences, from charming gardens to cosy cottages. How about beautiful naming ceremony rituals unique to your family’s values and beliefs. But its not just about baby naming celebrants can now help a person who has changed their gender by celebrating with their friends, family even their community by holding a gender affirmation ceremony. I can work closely with your chosen venue assuring everything is in place for your special day leaving you to enjoy the build up to your day with your partner for life. We will really get to know each other and I,m happy to meet you as many times as you like during the planning of your special day. I will also present you with a beautifully written script for you to cherish forever. Nothing is too much trouble for me I love making couples happy.
Renewal of Vows
Are you looking for a special way to celebrate your love and commitment to your partner? A vow renewal ceremony may be just what you need! Whether you’re celebrating a milestone anniversary or simply want to reaffirm your love for each other, a vow renewal ceremony can be a beautiful and meaningful way to do so. One of the most important aspects of a vow renewal ceremony is the script. I can incorporate readings or poems that are meaningful to you and your partner, and don’t be afraid to personalize your vows to reflect your current stage in life. Your vow renewal ceremony officiant can also help you craft a unique and personalized script that reflects your everlasting love for each other. Or maybe you would like just to say your original vows. All this will be possible.
I will meet with you firstly for a chat to get to know you both and really get a feel for what you would like. I can recommend venues, ideas for your vows with reading and poems. Perhaps you love your home and garden and would like your ceremony there surrounded by your loved ones. Perhaps you would like to involve your grandchildren and have a handfasting ritual incorporated into your vows, showing how after “ tying the know” at your wedding you are still as united now as you where there. Your grandchildren can help place the ribbons over your hands to make the ceremony a truly unique one.

Funerals
Saying goodbye to a loved one can be the most difficult chapter in your life and is often filled with sadness. As a trained funeral celebrant, I feel privileged to be chosen to create a funeral ceremony that will tell the story of your beloved, giving them the fair well they truly deserve. Celebrating the life they led filled with love and perhaps laughter but most of all demonstrating how loved this person is as they leave this life. I will offer a personalised service which will be meaningful and tailored to the individual needs of the family. I am knowledgeable about different cultures and traditions and can help create a ceremony that is respectful to all involved I will work closely with your funeral director to ensure the day runs smoothly and afterwards I will present you with a copy of the service script
1. Firstly, once the family have contacted their chosen funeral director I will arrange a visit with you. I will offer a personalised service including the writing of eulogies, readings, music and other meaningful elements. I provide a wide range of advice and support to families who are in the process of saying goodbye to their loved one. I am professional and compassionate and understanding of the emotional difficulty of saying goodbye to a loved one. I understand that everyone has different beliefs and am knowledgeable about different cultures and traditions and can help create a ceremony that is respectful and meaningful to all involved. Losing someone you love is one of the hardest things to accept and the arranging and thinking what to include in the funeral can sometime be overwhelming. I am here to help you, guide you and support you from the very start of the planning, to the day itself, helping to take some of the pressure off you. You can contact me as often as you want, whenever you want. My job is to help alleviate any of the concerns that you may have leaving you to come to terms peacefully and quietly in losing your beloved.
