I embrace all different sorts of weddings, from the traditional to the very whacky.
Everyone type of wedding is important to me, and every sort of service is important to me however large or intimate.

I have a lot of experience as a celebrant and have been lucky to have the choice of when and where I work.
It is a vocation to me, and not financially necessary; I just love it!
I love what I do, I take great care to get things right, listening to what people want and priding myself on delivering it.
I worked for the NHS most of my life, in Haematology, and Pathology, I have a Counselling qualification and I was a Samaritan for 4 years. I am a specialist in Baby and Child funerals working with two hospitals to provide services for parents that are in real need at their most vulnerable time,
I have a great sense of humour, I am kind and caring above all else.
I cover South Staffordshire, Cannock, Burntwood, Hednesford, Lichfield, Tamworth, Sutton Coldfield and surrounding areas. West Midlands and Warwickshire Derbyshire and Internationally.
If you are thinking of a particular theme for your service, then we together can make that happen, I embrace that; and will look forward to putting it all into action.

We will write your ceremony together, so wherever we are and whatever we do it truly will be a day to remember.
From January 2018 I am one of the chosen Celebrants working alongside Staffordshire Registrars as part of a pilot scheme combining the legal and celebrant elements of weddings at approved venues.
This avoids the need to attend the register office to register the marriage. You will need to tell the registrar that you would like a joint booking when you go to give notice .
You can still choose to separate the legal and ceremonial elements if you would like to use an unlicensed venue.
There will be a fee for the Registrar to attend, and there will also be a fee for the Celebrant to conduct the service.
I specialise in baby and child funerals!

I love anything a bit different, and I also love the very traditional. x
I love to encourage other members of the family to be involved in the wedding, maybe the couples children, family and friends, occasionally pets are involved too.
Naming Ceremonies
Namings are becoming ever popular.
It doesn’t matter how old the baby or child is, I have conducted namings too for adopted children, it is so important that adopted children are given a formal acceptance into the family unit.

As I adore conducting for children and babies, choose me; I have a wealth of experience in this field. I am also able to provide the most exquisite clothes for little ones, hand made and at no cost.
Renewal of Vows
I adore renewals, what couples often do not know is that a renewal takes as much work as a wedding, the writing and time needed is pretty much identical to that of writing and conducting wedding.
Just as personal, telling your story, how you met, what things you love, and what you have shared together since your first meeting.
Often including the children and sometimes grandchildren that have come into your life since that fist meeting.

Funerals
I have a particular interest and love of child, baby and teenager funerals. Thus far helping 207 families. I know that it is nor for everyone, but gosh it is so special. I mentor other clebrants that maybe are not so confident in this field, spending hours sometimes with them, and sending services that I have written so that they can have the tools I provide a cuddle cot, and special clothes for families that want to have their baby at home, spending precious last days with their child. I am lucky to have four seamstresses that sew for me, and It makes me so happy to be able to provide for even the tiniest non viable foetus. I have my own support page, Twinkle Baby and Child loss Support and Resource, I take phone calls often, again taking up a lot of my time, I send and deliver clothes and blankets to FD’s too.

Our Granddaughter Grace
Sharon is a wonderful lady, an angel from heaven. We cannot thank her enough for the help she gave our daughter and her partner in arranging their baby girls funeral taken from them sadly too soon. The service was beautiful and will stay in our hearts forever. Sharon is extremely helpful and has such a caring nature putting people first especially in such difficult times.Sharon has a fantastic knowledge and expertise in the service she provides we highly recommend her.Thank you so much for your advice and the help you me too Sharon. Ceremony for my beautiful wife
I cannot thank or praise Sharon enough for the wonderful job she did, officiating my beloved wife’s ceremony recently. She is such a kind and caring person and a consummate professional who clearly cares passionately about what she does. It was evident from the start just how much Sharon wanted to do her very best for us. As we talked, she asked questions, gently coaxing as much information as possible from us so that she could deliver the most personal service possible. Sharon was extremely compassionate and her knowledge and experience were very apparent. She offered advice and guidance whenever asked for or needed, but at no point did we feel rushed or pressurised in to doing anything we weren’t entirely happy with.Sharon’s communication with both us and the funeral directors was extremely thorough and indeed, the funeral directors were very complementary, as they had never worked with her before. Nothing was left to chance; She wanted everything to run perfectly and at all times we felt that were in very safe hands.On the day of the ceremony Sharon was dressed immaculately and she conducted the service with immense professionalism and dignity. Literally everyone who attended commented on how wonderful they thought the service was, with a good number saying it was the most beautiful they had ever been to. That, in no small part, was down to Sharon’s not insignificant contribution. Losing a loved one is so completely and utterly devastating and no one can ever take away or ease your suffering and grief. However, if you do choose Sharon to officiate their ceremony, then you can at least be assured that you are leaving it in safe and caring hands.
