Hi, I'm Carol
If you are looking for a celebrant for your ceremony, I am passionate about telling your precious stories for each and every occasion. “Love is all around” whether this is for a Wedding, Vow Renewal, Baby Naming, Funeral or Celebration of Life.. Having worked in Health & Social Care in varying roles, trained as a nurse and social worker, In 2021, I trained as a celebrant with the International College of Professional Celebrants.. I am fully qualified to NOCN Level 3 for all ceremonies and fully insured.
I have the ideal skills to talk with people at ease, and build trusted relationships. I am very creative, which is ideal when you are a celebrant, to have imagination, and skills to adapt your ceremony style to how you want it to be? It would be a pleasure to work closely with you to develop what you would like to see evolve for your occasion.

What's my ceremony style?
I love to build on the love that people show for a person or each other, to explore and deliver the very best ceremony it can be. Venues for these ceremonies are important to build the ambiance for the occasion that may be happening.
I find it very easy to start a conversation, and build a rapport with people; we can then start building the ideal ceremony together.
I am a unique story-teller, and I have been praised by my clients for my thoughtful ways and touches to the occasion.
As I say “let’s do this together”. I am focused and calm. If people are not sure what they want I would encourage them to say what first comes into their mind, then I sow further seeds that will help to get a good end result. I am imaginative and quick to find solutions for whatever may come my way.

What do I offer?
Weddings
The thought of a couple in love and wanting to tell all their friends and family, puts a spring in my step and further love in my heart, and definitely wants to make me dance! Your chosen wedding venue will help us with the inspiration for your wedding ceremony, whether this is a country house, barn, castle, or stately home, we would work on some beautiful ideas together. We can talk about whether you want sophistication, fun, relaxed, interactive, the worlds your oyster. I would start of by getting to know you very well, so that your personalities are reflected in your special day. I will make suggestions for you to consider these could be, telling your love story, poems, music, maybe someone in your family or friends could sing or play some music, there are mini wedding rituals that could be considered. I will create a ceremony that is bespoke and unique to you.

Writing the ceremony for your consideration, any changes and then for your approval
Sourcing poems, music and reading if requested
Giving you a wedding questionnaire to complete and a couple of other fun documents to complete, to assist with telling

Naming Ceremonies
Many heartfelt congratulations on the birth of your baby, or coming together as a new family, how very exciting.
Your baby naming ceremony is one of the most important milestones of your life.
Creating magical memories is something I just love to do.
As this is a non – religious ceremony, a naming ceremony can be anything you want it to be. It can involve members of the family and friends, , it can be in a venue anywhere you like, and perhaps a themed ceremony and party that will compliment your child’s personality.

Renewal of Vows
The thought of a couple still in love and wanting to reaffirm this love again is an accolade to your devotion of each other.
A renewal of vows is a fantastic opportunity to celebrate your existing marriage. You might decide to celebrate by way of a special anniversary, or just because the time is right.
Time to include family and friends, and bring more magical memories, to your lifetime together.

Funerals
A celebrant led ceremony would be perfect for your loved one who had no religious affiliation. We can then create a meaningful service that would reflect their beliefs as well as contributions from family and friends.
I believe I can support you, to ensure your loved one has the very special send-off they deserve.
I can make this happen in any way you find befitting for your loved one, be it uplifting, humorous, serious and solemn.

Most magical ceremony
15 years ago we got married at the beautiful Gosfield Hall and loved every moment. Back in June following a dinner date at the venue we decided to renew our vows, the first time the venue has ever allowed this. Having read testimonials about Carol and meeting her in person there was no better person we would have wanted to share this special moment. From the initial meeting, all our nerves were laid to rest. It may seem daunting but the questions we were asked made for the most magical ceremony. Carol is the upmost calming professional and we couldn’t have asked for anything more. Renewing your vows does not devalue our wedding day it has just made the entire experience more special and we would recommend it to anyone.
