Hi, I'm Elizabeth
As a professional Celebrant, I write and officiate beautiful bespoke ceremonies that are full of personality and emotion that will give you everlasting and heartfelt memories.
Weaving your story, or that of a loved one, into the service and entwining it with music and readings ensures every ceremony is special, memorable, and just what you wanted.
Inclusivity is so important to me and I openly welcome everyone, from all or no faith and LGBTQ+ communities.
I am trained not just as a celebrant but in public speaking and creative writing. I have spoken at events and alongside the then Prime Minister, Theresa May among others, so bring a wealth of experience.
What's my ceremony style?
I believe that being chosen to be your celebrant is an honour and a privilege. Each and every service is special and unique, I will make sure of that. Having worked within the wedding industry for over 25 years I understand that every detail is important and how lasting memories are made.
With experience of officiating at over 70 ceremonies I have a diverse range of experience of different styles and ceremonies. Each and everyone was special in their own way, not just for the clients but for me too.
Why choose Elizabeth?
There are many reasons why you may choose to have a ceremony. It could be your wedding, a significant anniversary, a funeral, a birth or just an excuse for a party!
As a celebrant I love getting to know my couples and families, what makes you tick and what makes you strong. The laughter and the tears and the journey that has bought you to this point. I can then deliver a bespoke service of celebration for you and this can be delivered wherever and whenever it suits you. From a beautiful Castle to your garden. The choice is yours.
What do I offer?
At a celebrant led wedding you choose the rules, you choose your vows and you choose the promises you make.
There are No limits when creating and styling your ceremony. My Celebrant led weddings do not follow the same rules as a registrar led ceremony…. You want to get married on a cliff top, the woods or under the stars in a field dressed as Darth Vader you absolutely can. The only thing holding you back is your imagination.
Involve whoever and whatever is most important to you.
Perhaps this is a marriage of two families, and you would like children or family members to be part of your ceremony.
I offer a variety of traditional and symbolic unity services like hand-fasting, sand ceremonies or unity candles all of which can include family members or loved ones.
Weddings are one of the few parts of modern-day life where meaning is still bound up in ritual. You can keep religion out, or you can bring in any idea from any faith or tradition that speaks to you.
You can play whatever music you like; read whatever poems you like and make whatever promises you want to make.
Your wedding…your way!
Pricing depends on what you want for your ceremony if you want additional unity ceremonies this will slightly increase the cost but if you just want a simple service I can do that too.
Why choose Elizabeth for your wedding?
I’ve worked in the wedding industry for almost 30 (Gulp!) years and have a great understanding of the hopes and desires of the wedding party.
I’m an experienced public speaker having spoken at many events over the years before professionally training in both public speaking and becoming a celebrant. I’ve even spoken at an event alongside Theresa May, who was Prime Minster at the time (Pictures available)!
I’ve been described as being like a “Wedding Mum”, the go-to person when in a panic when unsure of something, organised and calm, always on-hand and removing the stress.
Sharing your happiness and joy at becoming a parent is something that has been celebrated through time and cultures. Not everyone feels that a traditional religious ceremony is for them and may not reflect your beliefs, so a Baby naming celebration is a lovely way to involve your family and friends to show love, support and a commitment to and of course celebrate your beautiful new family addition. You can of course have elements of spirituality and religion should you wish.

Renewal of Vows
There are many reasons why you may choose to have a vow renewal ceremony. It could be a significant anniversary, experiencing ill health or just an excuse for a party and what a lovely excuse to have one!
Why choose Elizabeth for your renewal of vows?
As a celebrant I love getting to know my couples, what makes them tick and what makes them strong. The laughter and the tears and the journey that has bought them to this point. I can then deliver a bespoke service of celebration for you both, and this can be delivered wherever and whenever it suits you. It could be your garden or that special place you visited together. The choice is yours.
A Last Goodbye…
A funeral is one last gesture, a declaration of love, a fond farewell, but it is also one of the most difficult ceremonies to arrange when you are probably feeling overwhelmed.
Saying goodbye is never easy, but it is an opportunity to celebrate the life of someone you love. It’s very painful but it is important to get it right.
Why choose Elizabeth for your funeral?
Working with you…
I will come and meet you, to talk about your loved one, to learn about their life, their personality, so that I can write, deliver and celebrate a life lived with a service that is a true reflection of them. There are no real rules, you can choose the music, readings, prayers or hymns if you want them, I can lead the whole ceremony or support you to do so. I will guide you every step of the way.

Lovely fitting service
I just wanted to send you a quick message to say thank you for putting together such a lovely family farewell to Mum for us. Everybody said how lovely they thought the service was and how fitting. Denice, her niece, said she felt Mum would have loved the whole thing.
Mark intends to send his own message but it’s been a bit manic getting ready to come away and he is currently towing the van down to Padstow in the awful weather.
We’re also listening to the sad new of Her Majesty’s health. It’s all sounding serious and I think we’re expecting more overwhelming sadness very soon.
Anyway, my very best wishes and thanks again. Good luck with dad !.
We would just like to thank you for an amazing service you did for Dylan yesterday, you kept it together and it flowed so well, I think you done him proud, there’s definitely a few sore heads this morning but what an amazing turn out. Thank you for organising the webcast at such short notice, everyone was overwhelmed that couldn’t make it to the service but still got to see it. Look after yourself and thank you once again xx
Celebrant at Funeral
From the moment we met Liz she showed such compassion, empathy and understanding at a very difficult time in our lives. We felt completely comfortable with her and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her services. As a family we were so happy with the service she prepared for my Dad’s cremation and those who attended also commented what a lovely service it was. Thank you so much.
