Hi to you all and welcome – I’m Jemma, a Gosport based celebrant who just loves all things love, family and weddings.
I am a wife, mother, step-mother and full time employee, the Celebrant role for me is a passion, a passion to be a part of something special in the memories that you are making in life.
Whilst I tend to cater to the “young crowd” with my age not decreasing (despite me feeling very un-adult like), I increasingly find myself attracted to a range of couples – different ages, cultures, points of view, gender, religion, styles, personalities, offbeat, traditional – the list goes on.
That is the very best thing about being a celebrant, I am able to cater to the needs and wants that you desire, and the fact that you only need one thing to unite you both on your wedding date. That very simple thing is the desire to be married to your life partner.

Wedding
Jemma has recently been a celebrate for us at our wedding. When we first looked into a celebrate we wasn’t 100% sure what to expect. From the first time we emailed and spoke to Jemma she couldn’t of done anything more for us. She gave us the time to explain what happens and what she can offer. We booked Jemma 2 years in advance (because of covid). However she was regularly in contact with us asking if we are okay, need any help with anything. We meet Jemma over facetime because of Covid regulations we have emailed over before this a little about ourselves. Jemma was very flexible and accommodated are needs such as change of time and day due to moving. Jemma was very friendly and open with us from the beginning and made us very relaxed talking about her own life as well.
We always wanted something a little different than the usual vowel’s Jemma had lots of different ideas to help us pick a ceremony that would be perfect for us. We decided on a sand ceremony as was perfect for our family. When we read what Jemma had wrote it was perfect, she had listened to us 100%. We changed our minds on some small parts and Jemma edited it for us and was amazing at quickly responding. When my husband forgot to order the things for the sand ceremony Jemma offered to help she really did go above and beyond. Even the day before when my husband decided he wanted to take his middle name out of the service.
On the day Jemma was such a kind caring bubbly person who made us so relaxed and calm. She was so personal in everything she did. She made us laugh and cry from the words that she had wrote and my partner doesn’t cry. We didn’t stop having a smile on our face during the service. Jemma was also so welcoming to our 3 children, making them all feel so involved and giving them the time a hard job as the was 11,3, and just 1.
I would really recommend Jemma and would use her again, Thank you for everything.
Beautiful Ceremony by Jemma!
We recently had Jemma as our wedding celebrant and we are so pleased that we did! Jemma was absolutely brilliant right from the start. She really tried to get to know us as a couple and individually so she could get our love across to everyone else and make the ceremony as personal as possible. We originally had our wedding planned for last summer but had to postpone it to this summer. Jemma was great when it came to moving the day and accommodating the new date. She was so thoughtful with what she included in our ceremony and the things that she said. The ceremony was really beautiful and it was everything we wanted it to be and Jemma was a huge part of that.
Jemma is such a lovely, kind, bubbly and friendly person. She even hand made us a gift to say congratulations which would have taken a lot of thought and time. We are really grateful for Jemma’s contribution to the day and she had a big part in making it very special for us. We will definitely be recommending her to others!
