Hi, I'm Dave
Long before I knew what it actually meant to be a Celebrant I knew it was something I wanted to do and each step of my journey has just solidified that love and now I can’t think of anything I’d want to do more. That is of course other than singing. I am also a ‘Crooner’ and love singing the old standards.
And it is this love, passion and flair that I would be honoured to be able to add to your ceremony. It would be an absolute joy for me to work with you, discover your story and assist you on the next part of your journey.
And what are the rules? Well, with this Celebrant the sky’s the limit. You dream it and let’s see if we can make it happen.

You’ll find my style to be classy yet fun and frivolous whilst remaining very professional. For me, it’s those personal touches and building a real understanding of my clients (friends) that is key!

Weddings
Your wedding is arguably one of the most memorable days of your life, and it should be totally unique. By having a ceremony that is tailored completely to you, your wedding will be unlike any other. Traditional weddings don’t allow for much personalisation and the flow of events is very similar. Having a Celebrant-led wedding means you can choose exactly what you want. From choice of readings, to music, and writing your own vows, your ceremony will be made your own and reflect the true love you have for one another.
Your ceremony will reflect your story. A wedding ceremony that your guests will remember for how special it truly was. A step away from tradition, you can hold your ceremony somewhere that has a personal resonance for you.

Naming Ceremonies
A Naming Ceremony is a non-religious alternative to a formal Christening and the perfect opportunity to celebrate and welcome your new addition in a way that truly reflects your family. It is and is a way to officially name your child in front of your loved ones.

Adoption Ceremony – If you, like me, have adopted a child an Adoption Ceremony is a great way to introduce your child (or children) to your friends and family and celebrate this special union.
Renaming Ceremony – Are you a member of the Transgender community and have finalised your transition? With a Renaming Ceremony you can introduce and celebrate the you you have always been.

Funerals
I personally believe that a Celebrant-led funeral ceremony, as with all the ceremonies I officiate, should be personable, respectful and filled with the personality and memories of your loved one. Or it can be totally wild and crazy if that is fitting with your loved one!
I will support and work with you to create a ceremony that is appropriate for the departed, exploring the inclusion of favourite songs, readings or rituals that reflect the person of your loved one.
I offer my families a safe space to remember and honour their loved one. I offer assistance reimaging your Order of Service so that you are not just following the norm or what you think is expected. I offer you a support, outside of your support circle that is also grieving, that allows you to think straight and deliver the best for your loved one.

An amazing celebrant, perfect for our ceremony!
Dave was our celebrant for our wedding celebration, and was an absolute gem. He gave us so much time, advice, and I can’t imagine what we’d have done without him. From the very beginning dave was reliable and fun, and spent so much time ensuring he understood us as a couple so he could create us the best ceremony ever. We had so many compliments after, and I would recommend dave to anyone!
One in a million!
From the moment we met Dave we knew we were in safe hands. Although we didn’t get to meet in person before the big day, Dave was there every step of the way to help make sure we were ready. Dave kept the day running smoothly; entertaining our guests, calming our nerves and even saving the day with a blindfold at the last minute for our first touch! He worked so well alongside the staff at the venue, even though he’d never met them, making sure our day was perfect. Our guests loved the ceremony and the humour and story he told of our love, so many happy tears! We honestly can’t thank him enough for being such an important part of our special day. He is one in a million!

From beginning to end Dave was great. He helped us put together a ceremony that was perfect for us; drawing out our story and our best anecdotes, and getting to the heart of how we worked and what made us tick as a couple. On the day he was really supportive of the nervous groom!… and delivered a ceremony that set the tone for the whole day that followed.
