Hi, I'm Sarah
ENGLISH/GREEK SYMBOLIC CEREMONIES I specialize in ceremonies in Greece all with a ‘sprinkling’ of Greek traditions! I am passionate about my work (well it doesn’t feel like work) lively, creative and entertaining and also very experienced, supportive and genuine. I create and perform ceremonies of all types in Greece, to include weddings, commitments, vow renewals, and naming ceremonies. I am based on the Island of Rhodes but able to travel anywhere in GREECE. As all ceremonies are termed symbolic (they don’t feel symbolic) most couples wanting a legal marriage arrange to do the paperwork side back home before or after travel leaving them unrestricted with their wedding ceremony in Greece. I love to be chosen to create and officiate an intimate, romantic elopement or micro wedding but also love a large luxury wedding too and am happy to act as Master of Ceremonies for the evening do!
What's my ceremony style?
I had my own wedding in Greece, a fair few ‘moons’ ago. There were no celebrant options back in the day. I work alongside all my couples and help them to have the ceremony of their dreams. I have lived in Greece for a lifetime! I raised my family on the Island of Rhodes and am married to a local Greece. In fact I could be described as the ‘original Shirley Valentine’!
I speak Greek so am happy to include Greek in my ceremonies for any couple with Greek heritage. I love to bring families together of mixed faith, and enjoy learning about different traditions and cultures. I am reliable, efficient, fun and lively! There is nothing I love more than a grand luxury wedding ceremony, but I fill intimate elopement ceremonies with fun and emotion too.
I love life as a celebrant in Greece, for me it is a vocation and not a job!

As a celebrant in Greece I love all the above and more. I am based on the Island of Rhodes, but travel anywhere in Greece for your special day. I meet every couple online via Skype or WhatsApp, and the most important thing is that I am the right fit for your special day. I am passionate about my work and add fun and emotion in to all the ceremonies I write and officiate. No boring, generic scripts here!
I offer a couples meeting online to discuss their ceremony.
Unlimited updates and online meetings throughout the process.
A wedding rehearsal either on the morning of the ceremony or the evening before, depending on travel arrangements.
All my experience of life in Greece, for several decades and any helpful contacts for your wedding. In the case of an intimate ceremony on the Island of Rhodes I am happy to help with the set up and planning too.
NO LEGAL PAPERWORK DONE ON THE DAY (most couples will register their marriage at their local registry office)

Are you thinking of a special naming ceremony for your little one? Perhaps you would like to combine a special naming ceremony in Greece with your destination wedding ceremony? I love naming ceremonies and often include symbolic elements for the life guardians/guiding adults such as a unity sand ceremony or a ribbon tying or even a time capsule. A villa venue can be the perfect choice for a naming ceremony in Greece!

I love writing and creating a special naming ceremony. I am often chosen by families with Greek heritage who have already had a Greek Orthodox Christening but want to have a non religious celebration with family and friends from further afield in addition. I love to make all my ceremonies unique and encourage family participation, this can make the ceremony so much more special and filled with fun and emotion.
Renewal of Vows
As a celebrant in Greece I love a romantic vow renewal ceremony. Perhaps you would like to celebrate a special anniversary, or you just want to exchange romantic, intimate vows with your ‘other half’? I am based on the Island of Rhodes, but travel anywhere in Greece for your special day. Athens, Santorini, Mykonos, Crete, Halkidiki are just a few examples, but we have so many different areas of Greece to choose from. Don’t think twice!
Had the honor of this lovely lady Sarah (celebrant) perform our wedding ceremony in Rhodes. She was amazing from contact and communication to reassuring us and so accommodating. The wedding day was perfect and wouldn’t have run so smoothly without Sarah’s expertise. The ceremony itself was beautiful and personalised to our liking. Anyone thinking of booking Sarah and her services, don’t think twice she will make your day relaxed and is so professional!

Sarah was our celebrant for a very small wedding blessing in the garden of our villa in Rhodes Old Town. From the initial Zoom call to the actual day, Sarah’s communication was fantastic and we could not have been more pleased with the ceremony that she wrote and how much of a difference she made to our special day, it would not have been anywhere near as special without her.

Amazing 20 year vow renewal
Sarah was great from the initial what’s app video call to meeting in person. Communication was good & everything was handled amazingly. We are so glad we chose Sarah as our celebrant for our 20 year vow renewal. It was exactly us, it was romantic, in a place we love with our family. It was an unforgettable day. Sarah went above & beyond to make it special, with extra little touches that were very much appreciated. xx
