What's my ceremony style?
I specialise in conducting weddings throughout the Cotswolds, my wedding style is traditional with a twist! All the traditional elements you would expect but with much more personalisation, fun and creativity. I love weddings in castles,, country houses, Cotswolds hotels and glorious Cotswold barns and am always happy to suggest the very best to you if you need help choosing! .

I work with couples from all over the UK and abroad who are seeking to have a perfect bespoke wedding in the Cotswolds. Typically many of my clients come from London, Surrey and the USA but I am always delighted to work with anyone seeking the dream Cotswold wedding.
As a Cotswold ‘native’ myself I have great links with venues and other suppliers so can make recommendations if required. My passion is creating memorable, moving ceremonies that are the ‘heartfelt centre’ of a wedding day. Involving friends and family in creative and inventive ways gives my ceremonies a truly personal edge and there is rarely a dry eye in the house! Think Cotswold country house and plenty of champagne!

Wedding vow renewal
WOW ! Julia was amazing from the moment I contacted her all the way through. I gave Julia 5 days notice that I wished to surprise my husband with wedding vow renewal. Julia and I had a zoom meeting where we chatted about hubby and our life etc and then I left the rest to Julia and wow did she come “up trumps”. Without hesitation I would recommend this amazing lady. Love you Julia 😘
A Beautiful Ceremony
Initially, we were both a little unsure whether we wanted to have a legal ceremony or a celebrant. In the end we’re so glad we went with Julia. We had been nervous because our ceremony was such a mix of cultures and religious backgrounds that there were various delicate sensitivities. We were recommended Julia via a wedding planner and from the very first meeting it was clear Julia was capable of handling such a sensitive situation. Her warm and kind manner meant that instantly we felt at ease. The process of designing our ceremony was very simple for us, we both filled in questionnaires which had simple and straight forward questions. With these questionnaires Julia designed a beautiful ceremony for us and it really did feel like it was designed especially for us. This is from one of our guests “I thought she was amazing! The ceremony felt so personal and meaningful and it was clear that she’d taken the time to get to know you both which was reflected in the very personalised ceremony and words she said about your relationship”. Honestly there was not a dry eye in the house, us included. It made us cry, laugh and it really felt beautiful. On the day there were so many logistical difficulties which meant the whole ceremony was delayed by over an hour, but Julia was so incredibly professional, she managed the whole situation; she got everyone into places ready for the right moment, she helped coordinate and then she delivered a stunning ceremony. Honestly, we could not recommend her more.
Faultless & Amazing
We spoke with a few celebrants before Julia but as soon as we got on the zoom call we instantly got an amazing vibe from her and knew she would be the one to give us the most personal and perfect ceremony, our instinct was right!
She was always in touch and got back to us soooo quickly when we had any questions or draft revisions to go over. We know how busy she is but she made us feel like we were the only project she was working on due to her constant communication and how quickly she was always coming back to us! Also on the wedding day there were certain things I had forgot to tell the venue, like to leave seats out and reserve seats for our wedding party. When I saw Julia it sparked my memory and before I had even time to panic she was able to say, ‘don’t worry it’s all sorted’ – Julia was so invested in the ceremony and every detail that came with it.
Also during the ceremony when I was getting quote emotional and overwhelmed Julia picked up on that immediately and quietly gave me the advice I needed which was to breathe and take my time! She is just amazing
We honestly cannot fault Julia. I’ll be honest, the ceremony was the part I was probably least looking forward to as I found the walking down the aisle and being in front of everybody the most scary part. When I look back now the ceremony was one of my favourite parts of the day. Julia engaged so well with our guests, everybody was laughing and crying and so many people have spoken to us since specifically about the ceremony and how brilliant it was! Julia you are amazing!
