Hi, I'm Lindsay
I LOVE to tell stories and there is no story more interesting than YOURS!
Our lives are all unique and so it is my job to create a bespoke ceremony that truly represents YOU.
I am fully inclusive of each person’s personal beliefs, values and ideas and will work with you to interweave these into your ceremony.
Whether your occasion is a happy or a sad one, all my ceremonies include 4 key ingredients: joy, love, tears and laughter – they are always appropriate in one way or another to every celebration.
Based on the Kent/SE London borders, I am a fully insured member of The Association of Independent Celebrants.

This is my aim for your celebration.
With a background in Theatre and The Arts I have plenty of experience in unforgettable moments. This doesn’t necessarily have to mean jazz hands and high kicks, (although I do love those!) I also love the beauty of the intimate moments that bring tears to the eyes of your nearest and dearest.
I love a vision and I love to help create it. If you want to go for all the added extras and surprises that are an unforgettable WOW for your guests, then with a huge smile I am here for you! However, if you would like to keep things simple and straightforward then I can still promise you a beautiful ceremony that people will be talking about long after your day has ended.

Everyone has their own idea of what happily ever after looks like but Walt Disney is never wrong so I’m here to be your #happilyeveraftermaker telling your story, your way with an added sprinkle of magic on top.
I can’t wait to learn about the story of the two of you and create a bespoke ceremony that really reflects you and the love that you have found in each other. I am fully inclusive in my ceremonies, I love to keep a little bit of tradition and relaxed formality whilst interweaving little twists, be it rituals such as handfasting or warming of the rings or surprise animal appearances or musical performances. There are so many options to the magic we can start your happily ever after with, I just can’t wait to chat to you about them.

Right from our very first meeting I will be here to support you with your vision for your day and with any questions or queries you have along the way – not just about the ceremony, I’ve been to a lot of Weddings so I have the knowledge to help you out with worries about other elements of your day if needed!
Many Brides talk to me about how tense they are about all eyes being on them, so it is really important to me, that I build a relationship with you and create a ceremony that puts you at ease, so that you can release yourself from the worry, enabling you the freedom to enjoy every second!
Lots of Grooms find themselves in a sweat worrying about their speech or stumbling over ceremony words, I offer support and guidance to free you from your fears!!
Naming Ceremonies
“Love is just a word until someone comes along and gives it meaning”.
I believe in celebrating all new family members! Whether you have a newborn, you have adopted, you are blending 2 families together or you would like a ceremony to affirm your transgender renaming, you have a heartful of love and I will create a bespoke ceremony that celebrates this in a totally personal way.
You can include guide parents, sand ceremonies, songs, readings and anything else that is important to you, I have bucket loads of suggestions and can’t wait to chat with you about making your celebration extra special!

Funerals
“You may be gone from my sight, but you are never gone from my heart”.
It is always an honour and a privilege to play a part in your family member’s final journey. At such a difficult and emotional time for you, I will be there to help you fulfill any wishes the Deceased may have had and get to know them through you, creating a ceremony that reflects them and really celebrates the life they had.
Whether it is a Crematorium, a Burial or an Interment of Ashes, you can book me directly or via your Funeral Directors. I will be with you throughout the preparations to ensure that you are happy, that everything that we have done, is exactly the way that you want it.

It can feel like a massive responsibility to be in charge of someone’s funeral, it is usually one of the last things you can do for that person and the pressure you put on yourself to get it right can feel overwhelming.
I will be with you right the way through the process to try and alleviate some of that pressure, I can offer guidance on readings and music and your order of service.
I will chat with you and help you recall memories of your loved one, allowing me to create a really personal ceremony that reflects that person’s life achievements, their personality, and your memories of them. I will ensure before the ceremony goes ahead that you are happy that we have included all the things you want to say and that you feel a sense of peace in the finished service.

Forever Grateful!
Thank you so so much for everything you did for us over our wedding preparation. After getting having the first part of our Wedding in Cyprus, having you conduct our handfasting ceremony here in the UK, made our whole wedding celebrations complete. It was the perfect final blessing for our friends and family to be a part of. A true professional through and through. Cannot thank you enough. Will be forever grateful x
