I am a professionally trained celebrant who would dearly love the opportunity to meet with you and your family to discuss the ceremony that you’re looking for.
Being a celebrant is all about people, and I have dedicated my life to being a people person as I have been an active and proud member of my community for as long as I can remember. In my professional career, I have been involved in all aspects of the funeral profession for over 20 years. I have been humbled and privileged to serve my community and wish for nothing more than to give back by helping people in some of the most emotional times of their lives. It would be my privilege to help you through some of the joys and heartbreaks that life brings us as we journey together to create your ceremony, your way.
What's my ceremony style?
I am relaxed about anything you would like, nothing is off limits and can be adapted to suit your needs. All ceremonies are unique to my client, the only limit is your imagination.

Weddings
Who is my ideal couple well obviously that would be YOU any couple who are looking to want to enjoy their special day and put themselves as a couple and their love at the heart of their wedding choices. There’s nothing more beautiful than seeing a couple being able to really enjoy that celebratory moment of making promises to each other and showing their love in front their guest’s family and friends in the way they have chosen and being able to immerse themselves in that moment.
My favourite ceremony type is one where the couple have everything that they need so they can just go ahead relax and enjoy the unique, fun and loving beauty of their day.
My Wedding Ceremony price of £500 and this includes:
All phone calls / emails / virtual meetings. Face to face meetings + Travel costs within 30 miles
Draft of the ceremony for your approval and any changes made.
Rehearsal (if you would like one / this is possible for you)
Delivery of the ceremony on the day and sole booking for the day of your wedding/partnership
Unity ceremony included in addition to vows and ring exchange. Commemorative Wedding Certificate for signing at the ceremony. Commemorative presentation pack of the complete wedding / partnership script 25% discount for you as a couple on any future vow renewal or naming.

Naming ceremonies offer you the chance to celebrate the birth of your little one and to mark such a significant occasion. Sharing in this special time with family and friends and make it a day to remember.

I am a warm, friendly person who has been used to public speaking for many years. I have 3 beautiful daughters of my own (all grown up now) and 2 Wonderful Grandchildren Caleb & Ellie who I absolutely adore. If your little one has older siblings, they can be involved in the ceremony too to make it a real family affair. In fact, you can involve whoever you want to be a part of this momentous ceremony. Your ceremony perfectly crafted YOUR WAY!
Renewal of Vows
It’s your vow-renewal, so we will “meet” to discuss your special day in detail and your hopes and dreams for the ceremony. I’ll also learn more about you as couple and your story so far. I’ll then further explore your journey with you by way of couple’s questionnaires, ahead of me putting pen to paper and creating your totally bespoke ceremony. We will stay in touch throughout and we will get the script exactly right, ahead of your renewal when I will deliver this for you and create a truly memorable day for you and your guests. Further additions might be a rehearsal, assistance with selecting music / musicians, assistance with reading/poetry choices, assistance with writing vows and the addition of symbolic elements such as unity ceremonies.

So, you want to renew those vows you made to each other, then let’s talk! Whether traditional or contemporary, together we can make your renewal meaningful, heartfelt, and fun. Perhaps you’d like to include others – family, friends, children, or pets?! Perhaps you’d like a balance of sentiment and humour? Is detail important to you – music choices, readings etc? Whether your venue is a hotel or a romantic country house? We could be in your own back garden or just out in the open air. Whatever the, where’s, when’s or what’s then I’d love to hear your plans and you can let me help with the “how’s. Your ceremony perfectly created just for you.
Funerals
When we suffer the loss of a loved one, we often quite rightly focus on memories of that person. The things that made us smile about them, their personality traits, how they made us feel, milestone events, even funny stories, and, of course, we focus on how life will be without them.
The funeral ceremony is a celebration of life, and yes, a chance to mourn, but also an opportunity to remember the life of the deceased, and the love and memories they have left behind in the hearts of those in the congregation.
Each ceremony is therefore unique and will reflect the life and personality of your loved one. The ceremony will be delivered in a sincere and dignified manner, and in line with your wishes, and how you believe your loved one would have wanted.
Sometimes, depending on the life of the person whom we are celebrating, there may be room for a little laughter, religious elements, readings, music, and perhaps family traditions, A time of reflection all carried out with dignity and respect.
You and your family make all the decisions as to the ceremony content, my role is to pull all your wishes all together into something memorable and personal.
There are many elements which can be incorporated into a funeral ceremony.
If you wish, I can recommend poems, music, or readings. You may want to involve members of your family in the ceremony, and I shall ensure they have my full support on the day. Maybe there is a family tradition you would like to include? As mentioned each ceremony is unique and I shall ensure it contains all the elements you wish for.
I will liaise with your chosen Funeral Director, to ensure everything is as you wish on the day. At the crematorium or cemetery, I shall be there to meet you, and conduct the service as agreed.
It may be that you are planning your own Celebration of Life. If this is the case, I would be happy to meet with you, and discuss your requirements for your Ceremony, and work with you to create your unique and personal Celebration of Life.

Why choose Nick for your funeral?
I shall arrange to meet with you, and family members, to learn about the life of your loved one, and how you would like that life to be celebrated. I shall spend as much or as little time as needed to discuss the Ceremony with you, and ensure I have a true understanding of the person we are honouring, and how you would like the ceremony to be, on the day.
I can be as involved as you would like me to and will create a ceremony befitting your loved one. I can write and deliver a eulogy or assist a family member to write and deliver the eulogy on the day. Emotions can sometimes take over on the day, but rest assured, I shall be on hand every step of the way, if needed.
The benefit of an Independent Civil Funeral Celebrant is that the ceremony can be personalised to reflect the life of your loved one. I am happy to include religious elements to the degree you feel your loved one would have wanted, as, this is a unique ceremony tailored to the life, personality, and beliefs of the deceased.
You will have a chance to look over my proposed ceremony script and make all the amendments you wish and will always have final approval.

You were honestly amazing! Your words and how you presented it was perfect. From the first time we met you, you made us feel at ease and would never fail to make us all laugh aswell with your funny comments and for just making such a hard time in our life a more better/comfortable experience.
Renewal
Nick did a fabulous job of my parents vowel renewal. He made it personal, emotional, funny and relaxed.
