Hi, I'm Teri
I am a lively, loving and approachable celebrant with a wealth of experience meeting people from all different walks of life. I nurture, promote and will fight your corner (if necessary!) to make sure you get the exact ceremony you deserve. This along with a reoccurring dream I had, led me to begin my journey as a celebrant and since that day I have never looked back.
These are once in a lifetime occasions and I believe that they should evolve from your own personalities and visions, and I would love to be the celebrant to help bring your visions to life!
What's my ceremony style?
I am a storyteller. I listen. I pick out the details. The freedom to choose your own ceremony style whether for a wedding, vow renewal, naming ceremony or celebration of life should be your right.
And it is your right!
There are no limits to what can be included in your ceremony, and I am happy to incorporate what is needed to make your ceremony exactly how you envisaged. Bring on your individuality, bring on your quirks, bring on your traditions, as we can work together to make it seamless and effortless.

Finding the exact words that you want to say can be tricky but with time to just chat, I will be able to collate your memories and feelings and create something truly special.
I am happy to be your confidant, your shoulder to cry on or someone who you laugh with.
There are no limits or restrictions and I love nothing more than being able to mash up different religions and cultures.

Naming Ceremonies
Choosing to have a naming ceremony gives you total freedom to include any meaningful family traditions but also the opportunity to make some new ones too!
Holding a naming ceremony gives your child the opportunity when they are older to join a faith of their choice but still allows you to celebrate them coming safely into this world.
You can include any music, readings or symbolic ceremonies into their special day and I can help you to research these if you haven’t already got an idea.

Do you want to wait until your family is complete and have a joint family ceremony?

There are no boundaries or limitations to what you can include and there is no age limit to when this can be done.

We are currently chilling and reflecting on a wonderful wedding weekend and all the excitement, such special memories . Both Mike and I can’t express enough our gratitude for the perfect ceremony that you facilitated. You did the impossible task of keeping Mike calm and ensuring everything was organised and ran smoothly from the beginning to the end. It was truly a very emotional and heartfelt service perfectly suited for us both and we have had so many comments on what a great celebrant you are.

Teri is a warm, open, kind and good humoured person with a passion for helping people from all walks of life to mark their significant moments.
Teri was a big part of our wedding when I married my wife in 2015. It was a particularly significant time because gay marriage had only been legalised two years before in 2013.
