Hi, I'm Amanda

I live in the Scottish Highlands and am based in Drumnadrochit by Loch Ness. I have been married for twenty years to my lovely man, have two eccentric daughters, and a relaxed Romy rescue, they all keep me very busy and amused!
I love being out and about in nature, walking, swimming, and beach combing. I truly believe our natural environment is the most magical backdrop for all the milestones in our lives
I am The Great Glen Celebrant and my profession is weddings, elopements, funerals, naming, and adoption ceremonies, all written uniquely for you, inspired by your lives and your relationship/s. I will work with you before your ceremony and take time to ensure that the words written are distinctive and personal and that your special moment is all that you want it to be.

What's my ceremony style?

Your celebration can take place anywhere you choose in Scotland. It doesn’t have to be a licensed venue. There are many beautiful and historical venues, intimate or elaborate, your choice, but you can also choose to have your celebration outside, using nature as your backdrop. The Scottish Highlands is brimming with incredible, stunning, and romantic locations, so perfect for the more adventurous and extraordinary individuals who are wanting that distinctive ceremony.
So pop on your wellies, walking boots, or stilettos and cross a river, climb a mountain, swim in a loch, or simply walk down an aisle before taking your vows, celebrating or commemorating.
I will be with you every step of the way.

Elopement Packages as above for weddings and include:
Flowers(bouquet and hair), freshly picked locally grown hand-tied bouquets, with beautiful hand-crafted unique hair pieces, all grown and designed in the Glen by The Wild Acre.
Picnic for two, catering for all dietary requirements, where everything possible is made from scratch, including a wicker basket, picnic blanket, champagne coupes, and champagne. All you need for a celebratory picnic in your chosen distinctive location. Prepared by Celt Catering.
