Hi, I'm B

Hi I’m B,
At the Beginning, at the End or when you Marry your best friend, B Celebrated.
I love a celebration of any kind, especially if it’s a bit different. My creativity and story writing developed during my performance days. I am fascinated by blending different tradition’s & customs, inspired by my upbringing in a very culturally diverse part of Birmingham, where every religion and stages of life are celebrated and embraced no matter your affiliation. My insight and adaptable communication style has been strengthened by 15 years at Mencap, supporting people with learning difficulties through education and employment. A proud mum, football fan, vino lover, who loves tinkering in the garden and tending to my cacti.
All my life experiences, skills and passion for highlighting uniqueness have brought me on my celebrant journey. Guiding, sharing ideas, and inspiring both families and couples to celebrate in their own way.

What's my ceremony style?

I am a vibrant and supportive celebrant that creates unique & lasting memories to treasure, by listening and understanding your wants & needs for that one of a kind celebration story.
I thrive on adding different traditions & customs into ceremonies, especially if you have unique requests and ideas, bringing humor, love and treasured memories into the mix. As a celebrant I can help you explore the many possibilities and bring your ideas to life.

Funerals

Goodbyes are always hard.
There has been a big shift in how people wish to be remembered after they die and how their funeral celebrations reflect their life and personality. With so many options available now on how you are celebrated, whether you would like a more traditional format, something different and unique or through ashes interment & memorial days I can guide you through.
What’s important is that the person who’s passed is center stage of any celebration and that their celebration of an unique life that’s been led, is compassionately mixed with the reality and tender mourning of loss.

Working Independently with a family or collaborating with your chosen funeral directors. With my support we can work together to devise a fitting tribute for your loved one from the start of the process to that final goodbye.
My role is to help you through the maze of choices and alleviate some of your worries. Ill share suggestions, inspired ideas and write a fitting testimonial that encapsulates the person’s charisma, traits, flare and impact on the world and others, giving them their last hurrah!!! the celebration they’d be proud of.
You’d be surprised at how impactful this process can aid your bereavement journey.

You might want something different. I will create a ceremony that tells their story, include their uniqueness, share their vibe. From the the very first visit to my home, to Mums Celebration of life, B made everything possible.
The visit to my home, where we talked about Mum endlessly, The music, mum loved….
It was as though she needed to get to know her, B put my Daughter and myself at ease.
We talked about Mum, and the very special memories we have of her. Family memories 💚💜
The Celebration of Mums life, was so personalised by B, she got her to a T.
B, read our eulogy as though she was an extention of our family 💚💜
I did mention to B, Mum loved a nip of Brandy. Even that was catered for. We toasted Mums life with shots of brandy at the end if Mums service
Thank you B 💚

Memorial Day ‘Clarice’s Flowers’

5 Stars
Louise Brierley-Ingham

Funeral | 06/18/2022 | Birmingham

As a family we’ve always treasured fun, laughter and love. That’s why, when my mum died, after a long sickness, we wanted to celebrate her extraordinary life and the deep connections she had with her friends and family. Our objective was to create a day that Clarice would have loved and one that felt like she was there with us but we didn’t have a clear idea about how to achieve that, in terms of either the big vision or the logistics of making it work.

And that’s where B came to our rescue. Throughout the process, she was thoughtful, creative and made us feel like we were in safe hands. The starting point was talking about mum, with B actively listening and asking astute questions. From there she got a good picture of what was important to us, what we wanted, and just as crucially, what we didn’t want.

From there, the next stage was ideation and planning. B had incredibly inventive ideas for bringing our celebration to life, all of which were grounded in the picture she had painted of Clarice. We loved her recommendation on a way to involve all the guests in celebrating Clarice and on the day – plot spoiler – it came off in a way that was far more beautiful than we could ever have expected, as something we will remember always.

The third stage was B’s sublime event management on the day. She was – quite literally – there to hold our hands, plus offer cuddles and tissues from start to finish, travelling with us to the venue and checking every detail of the production plan. B acted as a master of ceremonies, choreographing the different elements of the day, from introducing the music act to leading us all in the placing of individual flowers, from each of the guests, in a central vase (her fantastic idea and something that befitted Clarice perfectly). She also delivered a very moving speech, on which we had worked with her, in advance of the day, and which felt extremely personal to our lovely mum.

We would recommend B’s celebrant services to anyone who is looking for a personal touch – whether that is for funerals, marriages or any other reason to come together with the people you love. She brings compassion, professionalism, dynamism and creativity, plus the feeling that this is her vocation and that there’s nothing more important than supporting you in achieving your perfect day.
