Hi, I'm Barbara
I am happy to be working as a Celebrant in Scotland for Weddings, Baby Namings/Blessings and Funerals, supporting couples and families through life’s many milestones. During the last nine years I have met many wonderful people working mainly in Glasgow, Central Scotland but I also travel throughout Scotland to conduct services at the request of couples and families. As a Celebrant and Interfaith Minister, I am able to offer ceremonies to reflect the diverse nature of today’s communities. As such, I welcome people of all faiths, mixed faiths or none, and of all ages, cultures and sexual identities. Ceremonies can be non-religious or honouring the religion, faith or spirituality of the couple if requested. I have been a professional speaker for over 38 years covering many different roles from whisky ambassador to psychological care and wellbeing. And, I believe I can bring that experience along with passion and care to create a memorable ceremony for you.
What's my ceremony style?

Funeral Ceremonies – I provide ceremonies that celebrate the life of your loved one and honour their life history. If they were non-religious then the service will be designed in that way or If they held spiritual and/or religious beliefs then often adding a reading, prayer or hymn helps to make the service more personal to them. Absolutely Amazing! Thank you
Our ceremony was wonderful and Barbara was absolutely amazing! Everyone complimented on how precious the ceremony was, thank you so much for making it so special for us.
We truly had the best day ever!
Professional and sincere
We wanted to take a moment to express our deepest gratitude to Barbara for the incredible role she played in making our wedding day truly unforgettable. The beautiful service and the way she told our story touched our hearts.
The incorporation of Scottish traditions added a unique and meaningful touch to the ceremony that we will cherish forever. The gift of the quaich not only symbolised unity but also garnered countless compliments from our guests, who were equally captivated by all the traditional elements.
Barbara’s warmth, professionalism, and attention to detail were evident in every aspect of the ceremony. Her ability to guide us through this special occasion with such grace and sincerity made it all the more meaningful. Although circumstances prevented us from thanking her and bidding farewell in person, our hearts are overflowing with appreciation for her dedication and the magic she brought to our day.
We are forever grateful for her care and thoughtfulness and for being such an integral part of our journey.
With heartfelt thanks,
