Congratulations! You’re here because you have something pretty big to celebrate, right? My name is Carla and I am a London based independent celebrant.
As a celebrant, I believe in creating ceremonies which are completely tailored to you. After all, you wouldn’t wear the same outfit your friend got married in so why have the same ceremony?! I truly believe that ceremonies should never be dull! They should be a joyful occasion full of laughter, love and celebration. I will work with you to create the ceremony you have always dreamed of and not the one-size-fits-all version. You want your ceremony to capture the essence of who you are and make it just as fun, unique and memorable as the after party – after all, your ceremony is why your guests are there in the first place!

With a background in theatre and performance, I am well used to standing up and speaking in front of people.
In fact, I love it! I will work with you to create a ceremony that is fun, unique and tailored to you and exactly what you are looking for. Your ceremony should leave guests feeling moved and with a better understanding of you as a couple!

First of all a massive CONGRATULATIONS! Your new adventure begins. If you’re looking for a ceremony that’s not your one-size-fits-all then an independent celebrant-led ceremony is the perfect way to truly capture you! My celebrant-led ceremonies are not bound by any legal or religious requirements so they can be completely tailored to you. After all, every couple is unique and has their own love story to tell! I will work with you to create a script is tailored to your love story – incorporating all the highs and lows of your journey together as a couple. There’s no limit to what we can include whether that’s live music, singing, dance, readings, religious elements or even symbolic rituals – the choice is yours.

I truly believe that your ceremony should be moving and memorable not just for you but also your guests. I will work collaboratively with both of you to create a bespoke ceremony that captures the essence of who you are and not your one-size fits all variety!

A beautiful, personal ceremony, loved by all!
Carla was our celebrant for our second/fuller wedding, as we had to postpone our original plans due to the pandemic. She was lovely to work with, and really took the time to understand me and my husband as a couple. She asked a great range of questions about us, our history and our relationship before our first conversation, which meant we could get into the detail of what we wanted when we spoke. She took our story and turned it into a fun, meaningful and personal ceremony, taking time to research into traditions of our heritage to incorporate into it also. There were lovely personal touches she suggested that we and our guests loved. She was very good at checking in with us in the run-up to the ceremony, taking our feedback on board for tweaks/changes, and guided us through our ceremony on the day with ease. All in all, my husband and I loved working with Carla – we would highly recommend her!
