Hi, I'm Catriona
Hello, I’m Catriona, a wedding celebrant passionate about delivering wedding ceremonies full of warmth, love and laughter! As a Marriage Officer with Celebrants Scotland, I’m licensed to solemnise marriages – in other words I can legally marry you anywhere in Scotland. As a Edinburgh native, I absolutely adore a micro-wedding or elopement in my home city, but you’ll also often find me in a historical castle, beautiful hotel or maybe even your back garden.
What's my ceremony style?
I’m told my style reflects my personality – welcoming, warm and informal! I love meeting couples to chat through the style of ceremony they’re looking for and how I can help. On the big day I’ll be there offering support, calming the nerves and handing out tissues – as well as delivering a gorgeous personal wedding ceremony of course.

My favourite moment so far was conducting a micro-wedding in the heart of Edinburgh’s old town. We were in a restored merchant’s house, built in the 1590s, at the top of the Royal Mile, surrounded by the couple’s closest family and friends. There was so much love, laughter and history in the room – it felt deeply meaningful & personal.

We’ll work together to create a ceremony all about you – your love, your lives and your story, in a way that’s as informal or traditional as you choose. I love weaving Scottish rituals into your ceremony, whether that’s a handfasting or quaich ceremony, or something more personal to you – I’ve plenty more ideas we can discuss.

An amazing ceremony that we will cherish forever
Catriona delivered an amazing ceremony that we will cherish forever. She stepped in at the last minute after our original celebrant became ill, and handled everything with such professionalism and ease. You would never have known she wasn’t part of the plan from the beginning—she made the whole experience feel effortless and personal. The readings were delivered with such thoughtfulness and emotion, adding a truly special touch to the ceremony. We’re so grateful for the beautiful atmosphere she created and the way she made our special day even more meaningful. Thank you, Gene & Andrew Scott 🥰🤍
