Hi, I’m Mounira and I’m delighted that you are considering me as your independent celebrant and wedding cheerleader! I adore everything about wedding ceremonies; hearing you express your mutual love and commitment for one another in a unique and creative way, surrounded by loved ones, and in a meaningful place, is truly my dream job. What could be better than having the honour of being a part of your unique love story.
What's my ceremony style?
I am an authentic celebrant renowned for crafting stylish, inclusive, modern ceremonies that will celebrate every aspect of your unique relationship. I do this with grace, elegance, warmth and an unwavering attention to detail. My ceremonies often blend love, laughter and profound meaning, reflecting your unique values and cultural backgrounds. Ceremonies with me reflect the power of human connection through ritual, the importance of community sharing, and the meaningful honouring of life’s milestones.
I also work (part-time freelance) as a film and TV project manager/researcher/writer, and in the wellness industry as a yoga teacher. This experience bodes very well for being a storyteller, ninja organiser, creative wordsmith, and master of CALM for your fabulously unique wedding day ceremony! I currently live and work between Margate, Kent in the UK, and tropical Cairns in Australia.

Once we completed the initial consultation with Mounira, we felt immediately at ease. We knew we that she would create and deliver a special wedding ceremony for us, and that we were in good hands. On the day Mounira calmly orchestrated everything ceremony-related and delivered exactly what we wanted as a couple with different cultural backgrounds; the Milni ritual was magical and involved our families in the ceremony too which was lovely and a lot of fun. We can’t recommend Mounira enough. She was such a brilliant cheerleader for our love story, and her calm, relaxed, and graceful manner was much appreciated!
Mounira created a relaxed, warm, and humerous atmosphere for our wedding!
Mounira did a brilliant job of bringing a joyous wedding atmosphere to our ceremony and celebration. She was great at encouraging guests to participate and weaving a very personal ceremony speech from the information we gave her about us during the discovery call. Some of the most memorable and lovely bits of the day were things she suggested, advised on and/or carried out. We wanted the atmosphere to be relaxed, warm and humorous; Mounira listened to, and understood that, and made it happen, basically. I would have found the whole thing quite overwhelming without her help! Many thanks Mounira :)
Wedding
I cannot recommend Mounira enough ! She was so helpful throughout our wedding planning and on the day was so warm and kind and put us at ease. Mounira took time to get to know us, so during our wedding ceremony it felt like a friend was marrying us . Mounira added to it being the best day we could hope for.
