Hi, I'm Emma Jane
After 30 years of working in the Airline industry I decided to follow my love of working with people, building relationships, my love of creative writing and became a Celebrant – it’s a joy! I am fully trained under the Fellowship of Independent Celebrants. Your Ceremony is your day, your way! I’m passionate about crafting and creating a bespoke, beautiful, distinctive ceremony that represents you and your partner on the occasion of your Wedding or renewal of your vows, a naming ceremony or the farewell of your loved one. I truly enjoy working with couples and families to create a unique, personal, heartfelt ceremony tailored to your requirements. I’m looking forward to connecting with you to listen to your plans and help you create ceremony of your dreams.
What's my ceremony style?
I know the key to everything is listening, listening to your dreams, your wishes, you as a couple or as a family and work together to create the ceremony that you truly deserve and desire. Listening to you as a family with compassion, empathy learning and reminiscing about your loved one to create a fully rounded service that totally represents them. I love people and love what I do – I love working with you to create your special day.

I pride myself on the ability to listen and understand the brief that is presented. I build relationships very quickly and love what I do and love to help and build the most magical day for the couples I work with. This is your day your way and I’m very mindful of that.
I work closely with Bereaved families and help them through one of the most difficult times. I meet with them and work together to write a fully rounded tribute to represent their loved one and help them every step of the way.
What do I offer?
Weddings
Allow me to help create a Ceremony that reflects both of you and your new journey through life together. Let me take the pressure off by crafting a ceremony that reflects coming together and demonstrating the love for each other on your special day. A Celebrant Wedding can be wherever you choose as a location (as long as we have the landowners permission)!
We can discuss the inclusion of readings, music and the involvement of your loved ones. I will create a bespoke ceremony which I will work on together with you until you are content you have a unique, personalised and perfect script for everyone to remember. I am qualified to present both part and non-religious ceremonies.
Have you fallen in love with a particular venue or location? You can have your ceremony at a place of your choice – you have complete freedom at a celebrant led wedding! I can suggest to involve your family and friends in the service with blessings of the rings, sand ceremonies or the ancient ritual of Handfasting.
At our initial meeting I can discover what makes you smile, laugh and love each other and incorporate that in to a celebration to remember. It can be romantic, gentle, bold, funny, touching, warm, spiritual – a mixture of all of those and more…whatever you want. It’s your day – your way!

Reassuring at a difficult time
Emma is a lovely lady and very reassuring. Emma suggested a good idea for the wake which gave a nice personal touch for those attending.

Celebration of Life
When my husband died we knew we wanted something a bit different for him by way of a tribute. I’d met Emma previously and approached her to see if she was free and if she could officiate at his Celebration of Life.
She was brilliant, simply brilliant! We met, emailed, and also spoke on the phone prior to our event which was in a field in 30°C heat!
She was so relatable, friendly, relaxed and fully grasped the atmosphere we were trying to bring.
