Hi, I'm Jane-Marie
During a 15 year career in the NHS as a speech and language therapist, I have had the privilege of supporting individuals and families as they have had to navigate some tough life decisions. I am a true empath and have a genuine and sincere interest in people and their stories. At the heart of all of life’s milestones is love. I am passionate about couples and families celebrating love in all its forms and to have choice about how to do this. I am curious and a great listener and will try my hardest to help to realise your hoped for celebration. I promise to bring enthusiasm and a “can do” attitude with a good sense of humour and imagination to create the perfect ceremony. My mantra being “one day, limitless possibilities” and always “spreading the joy”.
What's my ceremony style?
I am professional, relaxed and calm with a good sense of fun and a real desire to enable you to have your perfect ceremony. I will leave nothing to chance on the day, to ensure it flows smoothly and effortlessly so you can relax (as much as possible!) and trust that everything will be perfect. I am inclusive and welcoming, and engage everyone in the ceremony to make it a truly happy and relaxed atmosphere.

What do I offer?
Weddings
My ideal couple are open and honest about the the type of ceremony they want. They may or may not have many ideas, but come to me with a sense of excitement and curiousity and want to work in partnership with me to create their perfect day. I love ceremonies which include family and friends and are relaxed and fun and I have no preference for location – Bluebell wood to luxurious manor house, both equally beautiful. I enjoy including a ritual, like ring-warming and watching as family and friends are immersed into the ceremony. It truly is a privilege to be a part of your special day and I want you to have so many cherished memories.

Naming Ceremonies
I work with families who want to welcome the newest addition to their family. This may be a new baby, an adopted child or the blending of two families. The naming/welcoming ceremony is about the introduction and celebration of the newest family member(s) and the unity and hope this brings for the future.
It is a true celebration, filled with love, laughter, joy and hope.

Renewal of Vows
The joy of a vow renewal is witnessing couples celebrating and honouring their years of commitment, happiness and love. It is romance overload. Some couples want to do this with family and friends and others prefer a more intimate celebration, perhaps just the two of them. Whichever way you decide, together we will create the perfect celebration of your love and life together. I will craft a beautiful ceremony with wedding vows/promises, perhaps your original ones or new ones, that will celebrate and renew your personal love story.

A time to reminisce and reflect, to make new hopes and promises whilst acknowledging the past, the present and the future. A vow renewal is always a joyous and poignant ceremony.
Funerals
I enjoy working with funeral industry professionals to ensure the individual and family are able to have the ceremony of their choice, including location and type.
I also work with those who want to plan ahead, having the comfort and knowledge that their wishes will be carried out and offer Live Funeral Planning. A chance to discuss and arrange your service, removing the emotional burden from family and an opportunity to say exactly what you want.

I am a professional with a kind soul. I have spent many years in the NHS working alongside individuals and families at very difficult times in their lives. I am an empath trained in counselling, and a good listener who always wants to honour the wishes of the indivdual and family by delivering a beautifully scripted celebration of life. This happens when I talk and listen to families reminiscing about their loved one. I always deliver a ceremony respectfully, sincerely and with genuine warmth and often humour too.

The ceremony of our dreams
Jane was a thoughtful and articulate celebrant who provided the best mix of eleganceand sophistication with charm and laughter, nothing was too much trouble – not even the dog bringing the ring cushion up the aisle – eventually !! The ceremony was remarked upon by all the guests for the personal touches and uniqueness. Thank you Jane, for giving us such wonderful memories and for being so supportive in the process of putting the ceremony together. I can thoroughly recommend Jane to any prospective couples fortunate to be taken on by her.
