-It’s your wedding ceremony and it should reflect you!
-One of my unique skills as a celebrant is in learning about my couples and their unique style. On your day I use this to ensure that my style compliments what you’re about and your wedding vibe.
-I can do vibrant ceremonies with fun and laughter. I can do romantic and intimate ceremonies. I can do classical wedding ceremonies. I can do innovative ceremonies with added fun extras. It’s my role to achieve an atmosphere that resonates with my couples and their guests.
-I’m a professional, trained celebrant, am proud of this and take my job seriously. I’d say I’m a relaxed perfectionist! Ha Ha ! I’m calm, especially on big occasions, but you’re entrusting me with one of your “life moments” and I absolutely want to get it right for you and am personally invested in creating a ceremony that both you and your guests will enjoy and remember.

My wedding ceremonies are written with love just for you, not from a template. This means that they reflect you and your story in a relaxed and personal way.
If you choose me as your celebrant we’ll get to know each other before the big day so that I can understand your dream ceremony. How it will look, feel, what you want to say, who you want to involve. If this is a classic style ceremony, super! Or, if it includes a theme, a sand ritual, a poem read by a dear friend or a starring role for you dog … that’s fabulous too! We can also include family, children and make a tribute to loved ones lost.
It still surprises me that many couples aren’t aware how personal their wedding ceremony can be, or how much fun.
Speaking a good level of Spanish and French I love welcoming your guests in their first language. I’ll happily try welcomes in

Naming Ceremonies
Are you looking for a non-religious alternative to a traditional Christening in Spain?
Discover my joyous Naming Ceremonies to bring your family together to celebrate the arrival of your baby.
My Namings are personalised ceremonies of around 15 minutes which share a little of the story behind your baby’s name and touching details of your family journey. They can include siblings, Grandparents, friends and other important people in your child’s life.
With the option of incorporating keepsake sand boxes or fingerprint family trees my ceremonies can involve all of your guests.
A Naming ceremony can be held at your home, in your garden at a Hotel, Golf Club or other venue of your choice.

When my daughter was born back in 2014 we missed the opportunity to hold a formal welcome gathering for her because as far as we knew the only option was a traditional Christening. If only we’d known about Naming ceremonies, we would have jumped at the chance!
My naming ceremonies are written just for you with personal touches and the engagement of your guests, my aim is to connect with all present and to see lots of happy smiling faces amongst the family and friends present.

As your celebrant I choreograph and deliver the ceremony part of your day.
I liaise with your photographer to help them capture the ‘best bits’ and the venue/ wedding planner so that everyone knows the plan.
On the day I’m there early to ensure that the setup is right. I greet and welcome your guests ahead of your entrance in English, Spanish or French. Your music choices will accompany you right on cue.
I have a library of poems and readings that may tastefully fit your ceremony and I can help you along with your vow writing.
When the big moment comes, I can share a little or a lot of your unique story with your guests and I help you say “I do” asking the crowd to celebrate with a cheer!

My ceremonies can contain humanist, mixed-faith and religious aspects as well as hymns, music, readings and prayers. I’m a friendly face and a listening ear to help during one of life’s toughest moments.
If you’re an expat I can help bring a familiar approach to the funeral of your loved one by providing an English celebration of life ceremony, which can be more difficult for you to access in Spain.
I will help you celebrate the life that they lived, the connections they made and tell their story in a meaningful way. From arranging the order of the service, leading it on the day, involving friends and family to arranging music or chosen songs,.
As an independent funeral celebrant, I can offer a non-religious funeral service as well as services with prayers and spiritual themes.
My ceremony scripts are custom written, I spend time connecting with the family and the key people in the deceased’s life so that I can write meaningful words into stories that will resonate with everyone who attends.
I have lost close loved ones, some very much before their time. My life experiences provide understanding and a deep empathy for those who are grieving a loved one lost.
As a celebrant on the Costa Blanca my aim is to help people at the most difficult time, navigate the process of saying goodbye and paying a fitting tribute to a very special person that they have lost.

I’m a friendly face here to help during one of life’s toughest moments. If you’re an expat I can help bring a familar approach to the funeral of your loved one which can be more difficult for you to access in Spain.
The process of organising a funeral in Spain is very different to that in the U.K. and some other countries. In general, things happen a lot quicker, often in a matter of days. Things may not be structured as you are accustomed or would prefer. and they naturally may happen in Spanish.
As a professional, trained celebrant I will help you give your loved one the dignified send off that you want. Flexible in approach I will help you celebrate the life that they lived, the connections they made and tell their story with meaning and love

The Best Marriage Celebrant in Costa Blanca
We worked very closely with Hazel on our wedding, from the second we met her, she was so lovely, open, friendly, we warmed to her straight away. She made us feel at ease and took all our stress away and into her hands. We only had to advise her once of our requests and she got them straight away, we just gelled.
On our wedding day, Hazel was so very attentive to detail, from ensuring that the musicians aligned with the ceremony to speaking to our guests, she even offered to be our MC throughout the dinner. The ceremony far exceeded our expectations and Hazel did that for us. She was calm, professional, caring, empathetic and we loved her and so did all our guests. Our guests commented afterwards that it was the best ceremony they were ever at and considering we got married in later life, that’s a huge compliment. Hazel has an extraordinary way with people and a fantastic sense of humour, she made us laugh so much. It was a truly perfect day. We new right away she was the one, my self being quite reserved/shy, she instantly made me feel at ease and more relaxed about the terrifying thought of speaking aloud in front of guests. Intimate Family Wedding Ceremony from afar
We are extremely grateful for Hazel! Since we live in the United States, we were planning our big day from afar which brings lots of anxiety and unknowns. From the very beginning during our Zoom sessions, Hazel was incredibly attentive, warm, and professional, which eased our anxiety and helped in making our elopement an unforgettable and deeply personal event.
Hazel took the time to get to know us as a couple, understanding our love story and the unique elements we wanted to include in our ceremony. She was thoughtful and added a personalized approach making the ceremony feel truly special and reflective of our journey together. She even helped with recommendations for florists, photographers, and other professionals in the area for our wedding.
On the day of our elopement, Hazel exuded a genuine joy that put us both at ease. She gracefully managed every detail, allowing us to fully immerse ourselves in the moment without any stress or worry.
