Hi, I'm Dani
I’m a creative, family focused, garden loving, dog walking, artist, potter, and trained celebrant. If I’m not writing ceremonies I can be found with my hands in mud, either in my pottery studio or in our garden. I married my high school sweetheart 24 years ago and have been blessed with 4 gorgeous children and two grandchildren (so far). I’m an independent celebrant and completed my training with Celebrants Collective.
Having a celebrant led wedding gives you complete freedom. By separating the legal signing from your actual wedding celebration, you open up a world of choice. Your wedding could be at any venue, in a garden, a barn, a wood, at the beach…you get the idea! It’s your day, your way. I’m comfortable dressing up or dressing warm!
What's my ceremony style?
I’m looking for couples who want a totally one off, meaningful yet relaxed, playful but heartfelt ceremony, full of laughter and love.
If that all sounds right up your street, get in touch. We can have an informal, no obligation chat on zoom or meet in person, and you can tell me of your wedding plans and visions so far. I’ll be here to support you writing your vows if needed, and help you choose or create any elements that would be meaningful to you. You want a handfasting? Fantastic. You fancy a Ring warming? Let’s write it in! Together we’ll craft a truly meaningful ceremony that you and your guests will treasure forever. Let’s create some wedding magic!

I’m a ‘people person’ so spending time getting to know you and your story is one of the best bits about my job. I love love and I love celebration. Whatever your story, it would be my pleasure to hear it. I’m inclusive. Love is love right? I freely admit to being a hopeless romantic but I’m also a realist and know that good relationships require work. I’m all about good communication and keeping it real.
My friendly, warm approach will help you feel at ease and hopefully make crafting your ceremony, that totally oozes your style and personality, a positive experience. As your celebrant, it’s my job to explore the options with you, and include elements that would make your wedding really special. I’m comfortable with including religious elements if that’s what you want. Readings can be a great way to get special friends or family involved and I can make suggestions if you don’t have firm ideas.

Fabulous celebrant!
We hired Dani to be our celebrant for our civil partnership party at the Freston Boot, Suffolk.
From the first email, Dani was quick to respond, comforting and super friendly. We had two face to face meetings before the big day, for her to get a feel of what we are like as a couple. She fully grasped our personalities and wrote a wonderful script, which is still talked about amongst our friends.
We hadn’t a clue what to expect from a celebrant. She gently guided us through all the different types of celebrations we could do, instead of the traditional ring exchange. We went with the wine box celebration. We found wine we enjoyed from our first holiday together, popped in an engraved box which we open on our first anniversary.
I can’t recommend Dani enough. She is professional, kind and down to earth. Thank you Dani :)

There simply are not enough words to describe the professionalism, courtesy, joy, understanding and love that Dani brought to our celebrations. Dani made us very very comfortable from our first meeting. Albeit a day early that just added to the fun we were about to have.
Dani brought ideas, calm and understanding to what we had been planning for, for a very long time. She is naturally caring and very supportive and professional. She took time to get to know us so the ceremony was much more intimate than we could have hoped for. Our 60 guests simply loved her as much as we do.
If you secure Dani as your Celebrant you are on the road to a great ceremony. A true master of her craft and a beautiful person to be around.

Married twice, renewal of vows three times, to the same man! (no divorce involved!)
In April 2022 we chose to renew our vows again on our 60th wedding anniversary, to celebrate and appreciate our long and eventful life together. We did this in the presence of family and a few special friends, who have shared our joy and sorrow through the years. We were surrounded by so much love!
Our celebrant, Danielle, led this event with great sensitivity and humour, allowing us to be real about the good times and the more difficult ones. She listed to what we wanted and made suggestions where appropriate, to enhance our special day. She involved our children and grandchildren, one being there to speak for our son who died tragically many years ago.
Relationships are precious and not always easy to maintain but are well worth all the hard work they can take, and worth celebrating when we can. It was a very special occasion and Danielle was brilliant. If you want a unique, joyful, and sensitive celebration, I would wholeheartedly recommended her to you.
