Hi, I'm Dave
Long before I knew what it actually meant to be a Celebrant I knew it was something I wanted to do and each step of my journey has just solidified that love and now I can’t think of anything I’d want to do more. That is of course other than singing. I am also a ‘Crooner’ and love singing the old standards.
Just have a look at any of my reviews and you’ll get a sense of the passion and attention to detail that I put in with all of my couples. When a couple and a Celebrant really connect it can be magical and I make it my business to build on that connection to make sure your ceremony is filled with personality, humour, sincerity and has you at the heart of it.
And what are the rules? Well, with this Celebrant the sky’s the limit. You dream it and let’s see if we can make it happen.
What's my ceremony style?
My style in relaxed yet professional. Your ceremony should be a mix of lighthearted moments woven between the sincere ones that make a wedding. I pride myself on my ability to ride through those moments and take your friends and family on that journey with us. One minute a laugh, next minute a tear in the eye.
And who can forget my ‘almost famous’ range of colourful jackets. And because it’s not really about me, I always give my couples the choice of how they’d like me to be dressed on the day so that I fit in with their theme or colour scheme…within reason of course! lol

Naming Ceremonies
A Naming Ceremony is a non-religious alternative to a formal Christening and the perfect opportunity to celebrate and welcome your new addition in a way that truly reflects your family. It is and is a way to officially name your child in front of your loved ones.

Adoption Ceremony – If you, like me, have adopted a child an Adoption Ceremony is a great way to introduce your child (or children) to your friends and family and celebrate this special union.

Funerals
I personally believe that a Celebrant-led funeral ceremony, as with all the ceremonies I officiate, should be personable, respectful and filled with the personality and memories of your loved one. Or it can be totally wild and crazy if that is fitting with your loved one!
I will support and work with you to create a ceremony that is appropriate for the departed, exploring the inclusion of favourite songs, readings or rituals that reflect the person of your loved one.
I offer my families a safe space to remember and honour their loved one. I offer assistance reimaging your Order of Service so that you are not just following the norm or what you think is expected. I offer you a support, outside of your support circle that is also grieving, that allows you to think straight and deliver the best for your loved one.
