Hello there! I’m Dawn, your award-winning celebrant for Lincolnshire. Named newcomer of the year at The Wedding Industry Awards 2023, and a national finalist, you can count on me to create a celebration that is fresh, unique and heartfelt.

I’m based in Cleethorpes, and cover Lincolnshire and beyond for celebrations, and the local area for funerals.
What's my ceremony style?
Your ceremony should be as unique as you are and reflect their personality – or personalities, and I’m passionate about you having the ceremony that feels authentic and true to you. Symbolic acts help us connect with, and make sense of our emotions too and add the ‘wow’ factor’ – you’ll be guided to choose the ritual(s) with especial significance for you. Whether your vision is for a ceremony that is intimate or grand, traditional or off-beat – at the place that feels right, whether a venue, woodland, beach or barn. What do I offer?
Weddings
Whether your vision is for something traditional, elegant and heartfelt, or a fun and funky themed celebration, you’ll have your ceremony tailored perfectly for you. A uniquely personal creation to reflect your personalities – so, what’s your dream ceremony like?
The only limit is imagination; you really can have your ceremony, your way. There are no restrictions on ceremony content or the time or place when you choose me for your truly personalised celebration.
If you’re not married, and wish to affirm your relationship, then a commitment ceremony would be the one for you.
Classic venue, or your favourite setting – beach, woodland, or a barn? All are wonderful!
Alternative and lifestyle ceremonies are my favourites – are you goth, rock, biker, punk, steampunk, burlesque, pin-up, rockabilly, LGBTQI+? Fabulous! Let’s talk!
Choose your sparkling weddings package from classic Amethyst, custom Ruby or deluxe Sapphire, or let’s chat and create your own. All include a relaxed planning meeting, fun ‘homework’, and support and guidance with your choices of ceremony content (poems, readings, music, symbolic acts and rituals, vow/promises writing). You’ll receive a draft ceremony for approval, and a keepsake souvenir script and commemorative certificate to cherish. Local travel in included; ask if you’re further afield.
Your booking fee of £250 will securely book your fabulous wedding celebration, and start the ball rolling on planning your fabulous day.

You’ll be assured to know I’m awarded the NOCN Level 3 Diploma – the only recognised vocational qualification for wedding celebrants in the UK, so you know you’re in capable hands – while you join yours with your partner! Did you know I’m 2023 winner of The Wedding Industry Awards, Newcomer of the Year, East Midlands too? Nominated by my couples, assessed by the best in the industry, you know you’re going to have the wedding you dream of.
Naming Ceremonies
Whether you would like to welcome a new baby or a child into the family by birth, adoption or marriage, I’ll help you have the warm celebration you desire.
I’m also happy to offer renaming celebrations for people who have transitioned and wish to affirm and celebrate their new identity.
Naming and welcoming ceremonies are priced by peak and off-peak time.
I’ll meet with you, support and guide you through ceremony content (poems, readings, music, symbolic acts and rituals, crafting promises to the child, and liaising with any supporting adults/guide parents), and offer a draft ceremony for approval (if required). Choose a keepsake souvenir script, and a commemorative certificate if you’d like them.
If you’d like to play a greater role in the ceremony, I also offer a lower cost ‘delivery only’ option, offering you feedback on your self-authored ceremony and delivering it perfectly on the day.

I’m caring and conscientious, and you’ll be guided and supported you through your choices for your naming ceremony.
The welcoming of children into a blended family, or for adoption, can be celebrated too, as can young people or adults who are choosing to take a new identity and name.
Parents, grandparents, and guide parents may all play a role in the ceremony to make it extra special.

Renewal of Vows
Whether you’ve been together as a couple for one year or fifty, that’s a super reason to celebrate!
It’s a wonderful chance to reflect on your journey to the present day as a couple, and your dreams for the future together.
It’s not just for married couples or those in a civil partnership; any couple can celebrate their love, and in the way they choose!
A structured, simple vow renewal or a big party with all family and friends – when, where, how – it’s your choice. Maybe you’d like to re-dedicate your rings, or have a blessing?
Renewal of Vows packages are offered as sparkling jewel packages – Amethyst, Ruby and sapphire – just the same as weddings, because just as move love and creativity go into making the day you say ‘I still do’ as memorable as the day you wed. Enjoy a meeting (or video meeting and calls if you prefer or are at long-distance), support and guidance through ceremony content (poems, readings, music, symbolic acts and rituals, vow/promises writing), with fun ‘homework’ too. Once you’ve approved the draft ceremony, you can countdown to your special day, with a rehearsal if you like. A keepsake souvenir script and commemorative certificate help you remember the day always. A booking fee of £250 will securely book the day exclusively for your fabulous celebration of togetherness.

Funerals
Beautiful bespoke funerals and memorial celebrations of life, each as unique as your loved one.
All types of services to honour your loved one’s worldview and traditions – whether humanist/secular or semi-religious/spiritual.
Whether you desire a dignified, meaningful farewell in chapel or at graveside, a personalised ceremony at home or held in a function venue, or on location at a place of special significance, I’ll be your gentle guide in crafting the perfect, moving farewell.
‘At need’ funerals may be booked and paid direct, or ask for me by name when you meet your trusted funeral director or arranger, and they’ll sort the rest. It’s best to contact me first to check my availability before the date is set.

Included in all fees is a planning meeting, guidance over ceremony content (poems, readings, music, ritual), draft tribute for approval, and professional officiation on the day. You may opt to add a keepsake tribute pack to treasure.

I have been privileged to create and lead many dignified and comforting services for families.
As well as being a trained funeral celebrant, I’m a Coffin Club Celebrant Plus celebrant, part of the Dying Matters network, and hold a diploma in Grief and Bereavement, and the UK trophy for the Centre of Excellence ‘Shining Star’ Award 2020.
I’m thoughtful, attentive and caring – I’ll be there as your point of contact right up to the day.

Celebration of life.
Dawn led the celebration of life for my mother, doing a wonderful job of balancing a dignified service with a reflection of a life well lived; sad but not mournful.
