Hi, I'm Dee
I am a playful celebrant who delivers lighthearted yet heartfelt ceremonies.
As a proud west country girl, my primary passion is creating ceremonies for people to enjoy in the many beautiful venues the west country offers,
I do this by asking open questions, listening closely and exploring the little things you share. A bit like pulling a thread and unravelling it, I get excited by picking up and running with the small details couples share with me – sometimes just in passing – that give a precious glimpse of their journey as a couple.
Through our conversations, and the ‘couple’s quiz’ you complete, I craft an original script that captures the essence of who you are and use it to deliver a meaningful and memorable ceremony.
What's my ceremony style?
I describe my ceremony style as lighthearted yet heartfelt. I find the balance between injecting fun, both when working with my couples and writing their ceremony script, and incorporating warmth and empathy, so that whoever or whatever you want to honour is given space in your ceremony.
It’s a style that I am happy and confident to take anywhere, So whether you want to be suited and booted in a manor house, barefoot on a beach or don your wellies at a festival, I’ll be there.
I believe that on these, the most important of your days together, you should have the freedom to be you and do it your way.
I’ll work with you to ensure that on the day of your wedding, vow renewal or elopement, you enjoy a ceremony that is genuinely, authentically and unapologetically you.

When you work with me there are no ‘shoulds’. No matter where, when and how you want to be married. Or who you want to marry. What and who you love goes.
On this your most important of days together, let me provide the freedom for you to be you and do it your way.
We’ll work together to fill your ceremony with the words, music, readings and rituals that you love and reflect you, plus any religious or spiritual elements important to you.

Inspiration and advice on readings, music, poems, symbolic elements, seating plans and timings.
Help with writing your vows if you need it.
Coordination and cooperation with the other suppliers involved in your wedding.
Advice on the legal aspects of your marriage.

Renewal of Vows
It’s time to bring your friends and family together to celebrate your love in a place that you love!
I’ll conduct your vow renewal, celebration of love, anniversary ceremony – however you want to refer to it – wherever you wish. You can go back to where it all began, have it somewhere full of joyful memories, or recommit to each other in your beloved back garden.
However you want to do it, let’s have fun reflecting on your marriage, exploring your future together and capturing the joys, the tears and even the surprises, that have got you to where you are now.
I’m ready to use my skills and experience to craft an original script that captures the essence of who you are and deliver a ceremony that lives in the memory for years to come.
