What's my ceremony style?
I’m a relaxed and approachable celebrant who really likes to get to the bottom of what makes your story so special. I’m very inquisitive (otheriwse known as nosey!) so I’m great and getting all those little details that will make your ceremony truly memorable. If you want to ban the boredom of more traditional ceremonies, make them truly unique, but keep all those elements that are super-special, then I’m the celebrant for you.
I’m very family-orientated and I love including children and ‘furry kids’ into your special day. Most importantly of all, I will put you at ease and ensure that you have a fantastic day that you will remember forever.

I have a great sense of humour and I think I make the process of creating your ceremony fun, which shines through on the day of your wedding, vow renewal, or naming day. I’m a great listener and I like to make couples feel comfortable and see me as a friend, so we can really get down all the little details that make your love story unique. If you have nerves on your big day I’m also great at calming those; with a hug, or a shot of tequila!
What do I offer?
Weddings
My ideal couple would be fairly relaxed and really like the basic structure of a traditional ceremony, but perhaps want to add their own touches such as musical elements or a symbolic ritual to make it really stand out. They would be getting married somwhere rustic like a barn, outdoors, or possibly in a Tipi. I’m a big music fan, so a couple who love a bit of 90s indie or Fleetwood Mac would be perfect. I’m a huge dog lover, so a couple who wated to include their furry family member in their ceremony would be great! A couple with children would also be lovely. I got married when my son was 10 months old, so I know what it’s like trying to juggle babies at weddings. I think they would want a really chilled out vibe to their day.
I offer a completely personalised ceremony creation service. I’ll get to know you as a couple, really find out all of those little things that make your love so special, and deliver your ceremony on your wedding day just how you want it.
I’m here to hold your hand throughout the process of creating your ceremony and in the run up to your big day. You will recieve a final copy of your ceremony script prior to your wedding day and we can work together to make sure it is absolutely perfect for you.

Naming Ceremonies
I offer naming days for families wanting to officially welcome their preciou child or children to their family. This could be a newborn, an older child, or perhaps children wlecomed into a family through adoption. Naming days are really a celebration of new life, whatever form that may take. So if you feel that you have been reinvented or reborn as an individual why not have a day to celebrate this too?!
Naming days are a beautiful way to celebrate new life, or a new chapter for you and your family. I’ll get to know you and your family and create a truly unique ceremony filled with love.
I will meet with you and find out exactly what you want your special naming day to include. I’ll send you a personal questionnaire that will really help me to get to know you and your family and create a ceremony that reflects you and your child. I can advise you on special symbolic elements you may want to include such a tree planting or sand ceremonies.
We’ll work together to ensure your naming day is perfect. All you need to bring along is love!

Renewal of Vows
Maybe you are celebrating a landmark anniversary, or perhaps you just want to remind each other of all the reasons you fell in love with each other. Whatever your reason for a vow renewal I can create a ceremony for you that will be full of romance, joy and laughter; All You Need is Love!
Vow renewals can be so special as they not only a reminder of your wedidng day, but they can also reflect on the years that have passed since that day. You may have family you want to include in your ceremony that weren’t there when you got married. The ceremony is all about reafffirming your love for each and celebrating it with those you love most.

Jess was absolutely fantastic, from the minute we spoke with her we knew she was the right person for us. She came up with the script following one call with us and there were literally no changes made. On the day she was superb, engaging with guests, putting our minds at ease and was so personable throughout the ceremony. Celebrating our celebrant!
My partner and I wanted a celebrant led LGBTQ ceremony, and came across recommendations for Jess in a wedding group online.
From her initial professional email communication to her lovely script, which was built with us every step of the way, we have been gently guided to ensure our ceremony was a true reflection of us. Jess is kind, compassionate, honest and fun. We truly believe our wedding was made by having Jess support us on our most important day
A lovely, professional and genuine celebrant
We booked Jess for our wedding on Sunday 16th July 2023.
Jess came recommended to us by our venue which always provides a bit of assurance and on meeting Jess we could see why.
She was very warm and welcoming but had a calmness and professionalism about her which was comforting and felt like she’d have our day well in hand.
We exchanged details and a WhatsApp group was set up with communication when needed. It didn’t feel like a bombardment but an occasional check-in and ask for information when needed. We liked this style as it didn’t add to the pressure we already had in arranging a wedding.
Jess is very thorough in getting to know you as a person and as a couple. Aside from chats and check-ins, we were asked to complete a couples questionnaire which we could do separately or together. We chose separately as we thought it’d be interesting to offer our different perspectives on the relationship. Jess took all of that info and worked it into an amazing speech that really captured what our relationship is all about.
On the day itself, Jess arrived early and dressed really nice – taking our colours and theme into consideration. She said hello but then was quick off the mark to make sure everything was ready with the venues and staff supporting.
Jess’s professionalism and warmness shone though as she coordinated the start of the ceremony and spoke with confidence, humour and came across really genuine and human. This definitely helped with our own nerves on the day. She arranged a light hearted poem, reflected both of our questionnaires really well and touched on important points to both of us which we really appreciated.
We couldn’t recommend Jess enough as a celebrant. A lovely person and we feel lucky to have had her share in our special day.
