My celebration of life (or funeral as some may call it) style is relaxed and warm, with a sense of celebration.
I love to celebrate life’s occasions and the magical moments and stories that make us all unique. Whether that be your unique relationship, or your unique family members. I bring a sense of warmth and joy to every ceremony.
I was a radio presenter for many years before I trained as a celebrant so I know how to host an event and make sure that all of the guests are engaged throughout! My ‘sparkly joyous personality’ is what makes me unique and I would love to bring this energy to your day!

I also love it when my couples write their own vows but if you get stuck I can absolutely help or write them for you!

Laura is AMAZING
We honestly couldn’t have asked for a better celebrant than Laura for our wedding at Rhyse Farm. She really is the best in the business! From the first time we spoke, she was so warm and friendly, and made us feel completely at ease. She really took the time to get to know us and created a ceremony that felt so personal, genuine, and full of love. She goes above and beyond, she met with the owners of our venue and did a site visit, and she liaised with all of our other suppliers to ensure everything ran smoothly for our ceremony. Having Laura officiate our wedding ceremony was like having an old friend deliver the ceremony – it really does feel that wholesome and familiar – both incredibly important to put you at ease on your wedding day!
On the day, Laura was absolutely brilliant. Her delivery was natural, heartfelt, and had everyone smiling (and tearing up!). So many of our guests told us how special and meaningful the ceremony was — it was the highlight of the whole day. I’ve lost count of how many guests made a bee-line to ask us where we found Laura because she’s so incredible. Countless guests – engaged and not! – have since asked us for Laura’s details. If that’s not a testament to how amazing Laura is I truly don’t know what is!
Another thing that really stands out is how flexible and calm Laura is. Laura even did a reading for us at the last minute which was incredible. She organised for one of our best friends and my bridesmaid to surprise us with a song during the ceremony. Laura took to Scottish and Jamaican ceremony touches with flair – she truly can adapt to anything!
Laura brought such a lovely energy to our day and helped make the whole experience feel really relaxed and joyful. We’re so grateful to have had her as part of our wedding and would recommend her to absolutely anyone looking for a kind, thoughtful, and professional celebrant. We regret not just inviting Laura to join us for our whole wedding day – her company is that delightful!

We don’t honestly know where to begin with describing our experience with Laura.
Laura was absolutely incredible from the start, warm inviting and bubbly on our first zoom call full of incredible ideas and ways to celebrate in our very own way, right through to our first face to face at the pub, where we felt we were catching up with an old friend, and even after the ceremony where we still message and share life updates.
The uniquely personal ceremony Laura created is indescribable, we worried about having someone we didn’t know talk about us could be uncomfortable, but the difference with Laura is, she does know you, she becomes far more than your celebrant, she’s a friend someone we’re inspired by and her dedication to her couples is just above and beyond.
The compliments we have received from our guests since have been endless and even those who only consider religious ceremonies to be the only option were blown away, we had many asking us how long had we known Laura as she spoke so genuinely about our relationship and really cared for us.
We were lucky and got to keep Laura all day as we also had her as our Master of Ceremonies there was nothing she didn’t do to help us, from fluffing my dress, running with smoke bombs, helping solve chip-bridge-gate and being there to keep our guests and schedules to time.
We could talk for days about Laura and if you are even just considering a celebrant have a chat with her, before you know it you’ll have her booked and have the best in the business leading your special day.
If you want a ceremony that is completely warm, intimate, relaxed yet formal and tailored to you, choose Laura!
If you are thinking about going with Laura we could not recommend her more highly! She made our day intimate, romantic and special. She supported us through the whole journey and made two people who aren’t hugely outspoken, tell our story comfortably in front of family and friends. She is by far the part of the day people have complimented the most, with a lot of our friends even re-thinking their ceremony choices.
