Passionate about the quirks and the style, I write and deliver bespoke ceremonies all about you and your love story.
Lets celebrate everybody their way.
I dedicate my time to getting to know you and coming up with fun ideas to make your day as individual as you are. After writing and delivering your ceremony I can also stay on as an MC if you would like!
What's my ceremony style?
I love colour, print and texture…. but also know when its important to tone myself down so that your day is all about you. I love dressing up so if you are not interested in a celebrant in a navy skirt suit then lets pick my outfit so it works with your vision.
I am eco conscious and am constantly striving to learn how to be more environmentally minded, most of my outfits are second hand or rented.
I am also striving for more inclusion in our industry whether LGBTQIA+, body diversity or better visibility for those with disabilities.

Alders Re-Naming Ceremony
On Alder’s 18th birthday we held a re-naming ceremony celebrating the name they had chosen to take them on the adventure of adulthood. Together we came up with a ritual of origami butterflies. Alder’s family and friends sat and folded butterflies together and there was a real community vibe. It was magic.

Before becoming a celebrant I trained and work as an actor. This gives me a unique ability to adapt to any venue, the last thing you want is for no one to hear your wedding!
My attention to detail is second to none and I love creatively crafting a ceremony full of love and laughter.
I am passionate about inclusivity, I am visually impaired and am fighting for our industry to recognise everyone within it.

Weddings
My ideal couple is difficult to articulate; they are all just so different…. A couple who have fun quirks, want to make some new traditions and put their own twist on some old ones.
Starting from £650 I will write and deliver your ceremony.
I can also weave beautiful Hand-Tying Ribbons and MC your big day.
£200 to MC and co-ordinate the rest of your day.

Why choose Maisie for your naming ceremony?
I love naming ceremonies for how they root in a new member of the community and celebrate the people you have around you as well as your bundle of joy!
In my other line of work I work with babies from 6 weeks old and this has given me many ideas to make a naming ceremony captivating for your baby as well!
Some of my favourite naming ceremonies to have performed were for adults transitioning to a new name and their true identity. It was an honour to have been apart of that journey with them.

Funerals
I work with bereaved families and friends to honour their loved one with a bespoke ceremony.
£200 – I will meet the bereaved and discover all I need to know to honour their loved one. I can help find and select readings and music for a send off that celebrates the individual.

I wholeheartedly believe in the power of a “good funeral”. I am privileged to listen to you speak about your loved one so that I can craft a ceremony that truly honors them. I became a celebrant to celebrate life and believe this should be particularly important in death.
Grief is fierce, overwhelming and loud. It’s also love.

Maisie the Amazing
I believe Maisie was the reason our wedding day went so perfectly! She introduced a unique and bespoke ceremony that had all the wedding guests laughing and crying. Every single one of our guests said it was the best and most intimate ceremony they have ever been to which was all down to her. Maisie took the time to get to know us and had our best interests always in the front of her mind. She even dressed to go with the theme of our wedding! My husband was really nervous and he said having Maisie there was a calm and comforting presence. I honestly couldn’t recommend any higher having this wonderful woman at your wedding! We also kept Maisie on to MC which was definitely worth it. She helped arrange speeches, organised moving tables around, helped get people ready for group photographs, was there to chat to guests and organise things behind the scenes so we didn’t have to think about it. Having her at your wedding will be the best decision you make!!!!!
