Hello, My name is Maxine and I’m a Wiltshire-based Celebrant providing bespoke ceremonies in London, the Cotswolds, the West Country and overseas.
Whether you’ve just got engaged, wish to renew your vows, are celebrating a birth or honouring the life of a loved one, you are most welcome.
In choosing a celebrant, the possibilities are endless. And in choosing me, you have someone who will translate your ideas, dreams and desires into a beautiful and unique ceremony that will live on long after the day has ended.
What's my ceremony style?
I love love stories. Everyone is different and I delight in meeting new people and getting to the heart of their happiness.
I am also a professional Life Coach, listening and asking questions to get the best from people gives me a great deal of pleasure. Getting the best from you to create a ceremony that resonates with you is at the absolute heart of my decision to be a celebrant. In fact, I get so much pleasure from being a celebrant that I also train them!

My ideal couple is really one that is excited at the idea of making a ceremony their very own. That might mean that you might want to base your ceremony on traditional elements of you heritage and culture or throw the rule book out of the window. It’s up to you.
You might have ideas of your own and also be open to new ones. You might not know where to start, but wherever we begin, you are exited about creating a ceremony that you will always remember with love, joy, and maybe a little pride ,knowing that you created it together.

Delivering the ceremony – I will write and deliver the ceremony, together with the plan.
On the Day – I will be at your chosen venue well ahead of time, to meet you and everyone who has a special part in your ceremony before I stand with you in that unforgettable moment.

Funerals
SAYING GOODBYE TO A LOVED ONE
This is never easy. But I will be with you every step of the way. I will take the time to understand your loved one and how you and your family felt about them. That way, each special memory can be shared with dignity, warmth, respect and even humour (if appropriate).
Every service that I deliver is uniquely and respectfully created according to your wishes. If you and/or your family are more comfortable writing and reading your own words of remembrance, I can also do that on your behalf should you wish.
Worried about what to do or say? I can help you with empathy, understanding and practical support and, together, we will create a service that not only remembers and celebrates a life, but also provides beautiful lasting memories for those who attend.
IT IS MY ROLE TO HELP.
At a time when emotions are heightened due to the loss of a loved one it can be hard to even begin to think about how you might want to say goodbye.
There are a lot of things to think about at a time like this and it can be quite overwhelming. That’s why I will liaise with your Funeral Director, and your crematorium or burial site, on your behalf to ensure the ceremony runs smoothly and you have one less thing to worry about.
It’s my role to help you in any way that I can so please do get in touch with any questions you may have. Please be kind to yourself at this time and remember, the choices you make will be the right choices for you and your loved one.

It’s lovely how personalised your ceremony writing is
We wanted to say a huge thank you for being such a wonderful celebrant. You exuded warmth from our first meeting, and it really came across in the ceremony.
We appreciated your co-ordinating meetings that fitted our global time difference, and for the ‘walk through’ that we did in person a couple of days before the day itself. You very much calmed all nerves in that meeting!
Your ideas and advice on how to make the ceremony meaningful and incorporate our various heritages were super helpful. The extra support on sourcing such beautiful handfasting cords for us was very much appreciated.
It’s lovely how personalised your ceremony writing is – the way you built a story about our relationship made us realize how by chance we came to be together and how amazing and romantic that actually is – something a lot of couples take for granted I think.

We used Maxine as our celebrant on the 6th May 2023. We wanted a non religious ceremony that was centered about us as a couple and Maxine delivered. We didn’t know where to start and Maxine was great in giving us options and guiding us through the process. We ended up with a handfasting ceremony and it was wonderful. Everyone commented how they didn’t know that is where the saying ‘tied the knot’ came from. Maxine communicated our love story in such a humorous yet beautiful way that everyone was laughing one minute and tearing up the next. She made our ceremony unforgettable and truly magical.
