Hi, I'm Carol
After a 40 year enjoyable career in the corporate world, at the beginning of this year (2020) I made a conscious decision to change track. I wanted to harness the experience I have gained working across many sectors, and the skills I have developed working in people, organisation development and Board roles along the way, and put them to good use in a rewarding way. I am an individual of high integrity with a strong sense of social purpose, personal values and ambitions and a passion for everything I do.
I trained with the Institute of Professional Celebrants in April and since then have been establishing myself in the local area and have now conducted a number of funeral ceremonies in Hampshire, Surrey and Berkshire. I’ve been bowled over by the amazing feedback I have received which is spurring me on to do lots more.
I am in the process of writing a wedding ceremony for a wedding next year and a naming day and vow renewal ceremony for later this year.
Each ceremony I write is individual, bespoke and personal to the client. It is so important for me that everyone gets a ceremony that reflects their wishes and not my own. Over the years in my corporate career, being flexible and tailoring the messages for the audience has been of paramount importance, and none more so now than in the world of celebrancy.

Funeral
Carol gave Mum such a beautiful Service. We met before hand to tell a few stories and spoke about Mum.
Carol captured Mum’s character perfectly and this came through when delivering the service on the day.
Your relaxed, caring personality made things so much easier for us all. We thank you for that.
Graham’s celebration
Actually don’t know how Carol managed to hold herself together but she certainly did. She was professional throughout but warm and human as well. Nothing pretentious or pompous but real and moving. Personally I had a huge soft spot for Graham but everything about how Carol handled the occasion did him justice. At the end of the day whilst we wanted to celebrate his life we also wanted the chance to say goodbye and both were achieved seamlessly. I can’t speak highly enough about how Carol performed and all appreciated such a hard job being done so well. Thank you Carol.
