Hi, I'm Kathryn
It’s great to have a chance to introduce myself.
I absolutely love the work I do and I would love to be part of your day.
Being a wedding celebrant and fulfilling all the legal requirements is one of the most rewarding roles I have ever filled (behind other notable ones such as being a wife and mother to four beautiful children of course).
I live and work on an organic farm in County Cork with my husband Gerard.
What's my ceremony style?
I am a celebrant who’s down to earth and experienced. I will guide you and write a heartfelt ceremony to fit in with the style of your wedding with a dash of fun!
As an Interfaith minister I celebrate and respect the loving interaction between people of different Religious faiths, different Spiritual paths or Humanistic beliefs.
Interfaith is not a religion.
It is a response to the changing needs of our time.
It is modern, innovative and engaging for those who want to create their wedding ceremony that is personal to themselves.
It is about understanding our significant differences, but also recognizing our similarities.
Interfaith is faith friendly and faith neutral
Many couples that I have had the privilege of marrying have included some aspect of their faith into their ceremony while others have no interest in God whatsoever.

Planning a naming ceremony is great fun, but it can be difficult to come up with ideas to make the day special.
Whilst it’s possible to host your own naming ceremony, when you work me as your celebrant, you’re working with someone with training, skills, and experience in creating inclusive, family-friendly ceremonies. Having me as your celebrant leading the ceremony means you can spend time with your guests and relax and enjoy the day.
I have many ideas for how to make your ceremony meaningful, memorable, and fun!

Everything we asked for was never too much trouble and the results were the perfect ceremony for us.
Katherine was the celebrant at our wedding in Ballycotton in August this year.
In the run up to the wedding we met with Katherine to go through our desires for the ceremony. Everything we asked for was never too much trouble and the results were the perfect ceremony for us. We included our 3 nieces in our ceremony for a sand ceremony …Wow Katherine has such a great way with children. I include a photo of them enjoying mixing up the sand.
Katherine is such a calming and warm person. Her personality and presence is well suited to her calling.

We got married on the 23rd of September 2023 in Dunowen House and Kathryn was our wedding celebrant. Kathryn made the whole process so simple and stress free for us from start to finish, which we felt made the ceremony so intimate, happy and fun. Everyone really enjoyed it, so we would recommend Kathryn to anyone thinking of getting married and asking Kathryn to be their celebrant. Well done Kathryn, you did a lovely job.
